I hate Daniel Way. Not only has he fucked up Wolverine's history beyond repair, now he's screwing up Deadpool (having him talk to his thought boxes?).

We want Deadpool Stationary!

Wade must have it custom made. I've seen him with a Deadpool hat, jacket, t-shirt, and shoes that have "pool" on the bottom, backwards. I guess so it will be the right way round when he leaves footprints.

Argh. Is anyone else other than me getting annoyed by all the hate on Daniel Way?

I would definitely argue each writer (Joe Kelly, Gail Simone, Fabian, Way) have their pros and cons.

well, everybody's got their own opinions

but yeah, I haven't really minded Way really
the new box thing is a little different, but I've found it slightly amusing

plus, everything else about the series seems fine to me

I don't hate him but I don't really like the way he's writing DP either, and while yes all writers have their pros and con I find that for Way the cons outweigh the pros in my eyes.

But no hate from me.

I don't usually hate Way; in his own way I think he's a decent enough writer, if he's writing something that he's proficient in, like serious characters and serious, dramatic storylines. But when it comes to humor? I find him severely lacking, and rather missing the point of why Deadpool got so popular under Kelly, Simone, and Nicieza. (It's not just all about the crack.)

I assumed he drew it on the note. Of course, Wade doesn't much strike me as the guy who can color that well between the lines, so, could go either way.
