That's the real Bruce Wayne, not the grimdark loner wangstfest bloody-minded idiocy that too many writers since the mid-80s have believed who he really is. Hell, even after One Year Later, when he was supposed to be lighter and nicer, he's popped up all too often. Not in good stuff, like Mark Waid's Brave And The Bold, or Pfeifer's Catwoman, etc, but he's still around. Lurking. I fear we may never be free of him.
