Home, Come the Heroes
Four pages from X-Men Forever #10...

Continuity hounds, weigh in! Does the Avengers line-up here match what it's supposed to be in this time period?

At the end of the issue, Scott flies to his family's home in Alaska.

I've seen Claremont say that, if he'd had his druthers, Cyclops would have permanently semi-retired from superheroing. The idea was that he'd be someone who'd moved on with his life, onto its the next chapter. I wonder if that's what Claremont's now doing here.

Also, given your love of New Mutants, you might be interested to know, if you haven't already heard, that Claremont will be starting a NEW MUTANTS FOREVER series. Similar precise, leading off where Claremont's last issue of NEW MUTANTS ended.

I believe the term the younguns use is "HELL TO THE YEAH!!!" (or somesuch, I'm not completely hip to youngsters jiving, with your skiffle groups and moon pies and the like)
