I have a friend who always wondered that about BSG. If Athena joins the Colonials but still believes in the Cylon God, then what exactly does she think about that "hey sexy worshipers, wanna kill all humans?" from God?

Well, the whole "shack up with humans and have babies" business was God's Plan, wasn't it? Genetic dilution is a common enough form of genocide, she probably figured having a little baby cybrid would put her in the clear.
