She obviously is out for some JUSTICE!!!

Let's just hope its a cameo. Both M'gann and Jay deserve better.

I'm inclined to say "why not?"

While the character seemed interesting in the past, after the Titans Tomorrow storyline, she's allegedly being semi-mind controlled by her evil future self and has been less than memorable in just about everything she was in (she was briefly in that series with drugged super-teens fighting in the arena, right?).

I liked her as the reformed white martian, and basically the J'onn Junior - she was similar to him enough and yet different to be a Bruce/Dick kind of combo.

SHE IS AN UNDERAGED GIRL AND THERE IS NO REASON FOR US TO BE LOOKING AT HER ASS SO WHY ARE WE LOOKING AT HER ASS?

That skirt could have been drawn just as realistically covering her bum as not. Why did the artist feel the need to go for the panty shot? Why is that necessary? Honestly, she's a minor. Come on.

My theory is that since this is the same artist who drew "Trials of Shazam", he was upset that because Mary Marvel was in a coma he in that book he didn't get to draw the multitude of panty shots that the lousy artists of Countdown gave the similarly underage Mary in that title. So now he's making up for it by drawing panty shots of Mary's Martian doppelganger aka the (so-far) nicest girl DC has left.

That or he just like to draw cheesecake of green-skinned teenagers.

It's just a theory.

It doesn't even look like a panty shot, it looks like a bare ass shot with a line drawn across her left cheek.

It's just so gross.

White martians worship H'ronmeer? Did we know that? Or is this a sign that she converted when she decided to go green?

(Look, if Robinson isn't going to write anything remotely worth my time, I'll just make shit up to be interested in.)

When did Brick go back to being a common thug?

And Miss Martian. She's a Martian! She's probably 300 years old or something.

You know, between this post and the Enemy Ace post, this hasn't been a good day for puppies.

Also, didn't Cupid kill Brick? Or is Cry for Justice supposed to happen before Kreisberg's GA/BC run.

(You know I'm a continuity whore, when I'm pondering continuity issues involving Cry for Justice and Kreisberg's work.)

What's Nob Hill and why was Megan sleeping there?

Also if that's supposed to be Titans Tower I really have to ask at this point what sort of security system exists if a guy can climb up a wall (with apparently no special tools) and just pop in through the window.

Now while it's silly I really don't mind seeing her in this. I've wanted for a while to see what Miss Martian would think about J'onn particularly about his death.

And seeing her cry for justice wouldn't be all that bad compared to the others, for one thing she wouldn't be as bloodthirsty as the Hal league has been.

Wasn't L'Zoral the name the martians called Morpheus, from Sandman? If so, that's actually a clever little aside.

Sigh. You stay classy, DC. Really, who doesn't want a panty-shot from a minor in their comics to brighten up their day?

Oh yeah, that's right. Normal people.

Y'know, if you didn't read your Sandman, you'd almost get the feeling L'Zoril is the Martian god of Death and Miss Martian just killed Brick.

Also, re: panty shots. Welcome to comics! But still, it's somewhat obscured by shadows. I didn't even realize it was there until so many offended replies were posted.

Oh well.

WHat's even wierder about the panty shot is that in the next panel, it shows the skirt being long enough in that position to be able to cover her ass. So the artist literally MADE THE SKIRT SHORTER so that he could make that hsot happen. Lovely.

But, this does give me this question--why is she even sleeping in her costume in the first place?

This is not a panty shot, as Miss Mrtian does not wear panties. In fact Miss Martian, like Martian Manhunter, does not wear clothes at all. Her 'costume' is just the outer layer of her skin shapshifted. Therefore, while this isn't a panty shot, it IS a nude shot.

Just like every other panel J'onn or M'gann have ever been in.

Now go back through your JLA and Teen Titans collection with that in mind.

At least she's wearing panties! Some days, that's a victory.

And hey, I guess they've got to have something to fill in the time between Hal and Ollie pining for each other. Can't all be star-crossed color-coded boyfriends. (I mean, I don't see why not, but I guess it is sort of a specialty market.)
