Cooking for Many
It had been a good while since she'd cooked for anyone, but this evening, Paige decided that she was going to do just that. If her suitemates didn't come home, then it would be a simple matter of calling up Clarice or visiting one of her neighbors, maybe taking what she made to a shelter. She tended to cook enough for a football team, after all. And that was everytime she cooked. Pasta Primavera, pan seared salmon, stuffed peppers, macaroni and cheese, a vegetarian korma. When Paige Guthrie got to cooking, she cooked a multitude of different dishes. Mainly because she was used to cooking for so many siblings with different tastes, then at the mansion for students with just as different tastes and backgrounds. It was always a fun day to see what she could experiment with, and this evening had been no different. Setting the table once all the food was finished, Paige made sure that there was enough for a good bit of people. Anyone could have it. She'd made it for her suitemates, but there was no guarantee anyone would be home. So if someone dropped by, she'd let some of it go with them. And there would always be plenty for leftovers if she didn't take it to a shelter. Did they even have those here? Paige wasn't sure, but it was something to look into for as much cooking as she did. She sent out a message on the network as well, inviting people over once it was all said and done. The food would get eaten, she was sure of that. And she felt productive again in the completion of it. Cooking was a form of art, Paige always thought, so it would make sense that she would feel a sense of pride in it as she did her sketchings and paintings. |
