It's a feeling that can't be explained, but you spend your life trying to explain it, trying to make sense of it. Valar explores a duality embodied within each character. One version of the self exists in Orange County, living a life that seems ordinary, sounds ordinary, feels ordinary. The real self, whatever that might mean, exists only in a time and place which you are just starting to remember. As characters grow and live and interact with each other, they embark on a journey to piece together fragments of their half-forgotten dreams. PREMISE
2 Year Anniversary, active since Jan 2018! After Doctor Strange used the Eye of Agamotto to save Earth from being overrun by the Dark Dimension, everything seemed normal again. But the warnings against manipulating time are now coming back to haunt him. No one realized that his actions created a new parallel counterpart in the Multiverse, not until dimensional rifts caused heroes with memories of the prime universe to inexplicably arrive in New York City. Those that died are now coming back to life. Threats from the past take form again. The bill comes due. Always. And the lives of Earth's mightiest heroes are getting a lot more complicated.

Welcome to Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires, the Pearl of Cities, a Symphony of Stone. The capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague has a long and rich history even among its European brethren. Once the capital of Bohemia, the city has been a political, cultural, and economic centre of Europe for centuries. It has been home to Holy Roman Emperors, a host of European royalty, and innumerable artists, musicians, performers, scholars, and merchants. Prague is beautiful, humming with life and culture, and considered by many to be one of the most fascinating cities in the world.
There's another Prague, though, one that emerges when the sun sets, a Prague that few humans ever catch a glimpse of. When darkness falls in the city, the true movers and shakers come out to play. Nights in Prague are ruled by creatures of darkness – courtly vampires playing games of intrigue, savage therianthropes fighting to break the chains of their undead masters, beautiful and cruel fae consolidating power of their own, and humans with fantastic gifts seeking a solid foothold in the complex social order of the city.

It's October, the time of year when the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. Come join St. Margaret's to celebrate our annual Halloween traditions which involve: a haunted house, a complex scavenger hunt, a costume contest and of course, our resident banshee singing a haunting version of La Danse Macabre to call up from the grave the spirits of the dead to join in the festivities. At St. Margaret's Academy, there's no such thing as normal. Open since 2013, St. Margaret's Academy is looking for great RPers and fresh faces. The '16 - '17 academic year is well underway and students are preparing for the end of the first term. Thanksgiving approaches with the winter holidays shortly on its tail. It's a time for cheer and excitement, but also tests and projects coming to a close. Winter approaches but fall still welcomes new faces amongst a growing student body. St. Margaret's happily moves along, though after the events of previous years, there's always some sort of unease as to what might crop up. They're all hoping for a peaceful holiday season, and maybe this year they'll get just that. The '16 - '17 academic year is well underway and students are looking forward to the year's first holiday tradition. Hallowe'en is a big deal at this school. According to the Christian learnings, it's when the gates of Hell swing open and the restless spirits haunt the Earth. It's half-true. Hallowe'en is when the restless spirits that haven't yet passed on come out of their resting places and hunt the earth. Problem is, the Academy has lots of those, and not all of them have been buried in the graveyard. On Hallowe'en, all of them will come out. While they're not evil, these spirits, ghosts and phantoms can be mischievous and loud, which makes falling asleep on Halloween practically impossible. Will your costume fool the spirits?
