[Gotham: News]
[The newspaper is being handed out (free of charge) on every Gotham street-corner by Gazette and Planet employee-volunteers. It bears the Planet's trademark globe, and it's obviously been produced in Metropolis and driven in on the recently opened bridge.
It's a special edition: Six pages, with a full color front and dual-page color insert. The front page is just photographs, color montages of all the heroes in Gotham during the crisis, bright and glossy. The first two pages are dedicated to interviews with Gotham's citizens about the brightly colored heroes on the front page. Their stories name every single costumed superhero by name, and they adore and thank and proclaim their desires to grow up to be the heroes they've seen around the city throughout the week. No one's missing, not one costumed contributor, even the ones normally considered not so heroic by Gotham's citizens.
But the center spread, full color and twice as impressive as the rest, is dedicated to pictures of Gotham's citizens helping each other. Women helping other women to shelters, street kids helping the elderly, teachers protecting their students, paramedics risking their lives on runs, parents protecting their children, and children protecting their parents. The remaining four pages of the special edition are dedicated to them, the everyday heroes, and the quotes and interviews there are just as inspiring as the ones reserved for the men and women wearing suits.]
