Yes, Misha. Come and you may cling to me. I do not know. I do not know what I am waiting for, but I do feel as if I am waiting. It is very human of you. It is difficult, for everyone and anyone with sentience to extricate themselves from their perspective, Mishael. Dietre loves the idea of love, rather than the active work of it, it seems to me. What does he meant to do? Establish that they love him, before he 'decides' whether he loves them?

You're sure? And you ain't got no clue what you wait on? Is it just a feeling? I reckon he wants to be sure, on account of not wanting hurt, but you can't never be sure of not being hurt. I've learned that now, with you, and it ain't on account of you hurting me, it's just on account of you being something I can't control any. Dietre, he don't want to be alone. He wants to be loved, but he ain't real concerned with loving back.
