The Players : Cloud Strife. open post.
What: Cloud's arrival.
Where : middle of the streets of Red Oak.
When : afternoon, October 29th.
Rating : tbd.
Notes : this is late because I was busy and focusing on Cap. and I wanted him around for the shindig, so I backdated it.

Another day, another delivery. Strife Delivery Service was back in business now that Cloud felt like he had the right to go back home. Tifa had already given him a lecture on his 'dilly-dallying' before everything was settled. A lecture he tried not to forget, but sometimes things got lost with his own thoughts. Right now his mind was wandering as he traveled the streets. Would he make this one on time? The business had a good reputation and he'd like to keep it that way. Pulling out his cell phone to check the time, he quickly pocketed it before accessing the time he had left. One more hour to meet deadline. A perfect soldier couldn't be defeated by a deadline. Then he'd just let everybody down. Estimating he was at least an hour and half from his destination, he reasoned he had to pick up the pace. Revving the bike's engine, he started to push it to its limit. He had to make it on time.

Everything was flying by him so quickly that he wasn't sure when the atmosphere changed. It wasn't an immediate thing he picked up on, but he realized once he looked for his next turn and it wasn't there. Gradually he let his speed slow down and eventually he allowed the bike to stop altogether. Placing a foot to the side of his bike, he took a better look at what was surrounding him. The buildings had changed. Cloud himself in a lot of situations, so his first instinct wasn't to panic, but to find out what had happened and where he ended up.

"Looks like I might miss that delivery," he said in his usual tone devoid of much life.

Notes: A quote from a great man - "Satire is the bringing to ridicule of vice, folly and humbug. All the negatives imply a set of positives. Certainly in this country, you only go round saying, ‘That’s wrong, that’s corrupt’ if you have some feeling that it should be better than that. People say, ‘You satirists attack everything.’ Well, we don’t, actually. That’s the whole point"

This is no dream and yet no nightmare I dwell in. Surely it is the work of a greater Darkness that brings me here, tears at my soul and confounds my brain )
