Hello readers! This asylum has been far too quiet lately, and apparently while I was offline people started their annual "the fandom is dying" spiel, so I thought I'd try and wake it up a little at the same time!
I'm going to run a mini challenge for the last prompt posted here - Moving.
Please sign up at this post. Fics will be due in two weeks - midnight (US Pacific time) on September 13, and you can post your own fic anytime on September 14. I'll post a master list of entries on September 15.

I originally had this idea for ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) qaf_challenges but I've decided to post it here instead. The prompt is Five Things.
The idea is not original. Some of you have probably read Five Reasons to Go On Loving Him, In No Particular Order by LJ's negativeerin. There's also been Five Ways Luke and Noah Never Met, which was done in the Nuke Fandom. There is Five Wrong Endings (and One Right One), Five Weddings That Never Happened, Five Things Brian Kinney Never Did, and probably more out there.
This prompt is an homage to those great writers and their great stories. Please don't use their exact themes though. It's meant to be an homage, not a rip-off!
Basically, your fic should be Five Things, related or unrelated, drabbles or longer, themed or random slices of life.
What do you think? I really hope you guys run with this one! |
