Vanishing layout?
I was about to make a post here, and ummmm... where is the layout for this asylum?

*eep* I don't know where it went! Pixie made it for me... we'll have to get her to see what's up.

I have it on my harddrive. Shoot me an e-mail and we'll set it up using the customized section. My ripway account has been deleted since I haven't been keeping up with logging in as much as I'm supposed to. *face/palm*

*sniff* The same thing has happened to my journal. :(

The layout for [info]qaf_music uses a CSS that is stored at a hosting site that appears to be having some problems, thus IJ can't access the CSS and poof, no layout. Very sad.

But yes, Pixie should be able to fix the comm's layout.

You got yours back?

Oddly enough, my LiveJournal layout magically came back yesterday. But my InsaneJournal layout is still gone. And both layouts appear to use the same CSS file stored at the exact same address - an address that if I try and access it directly via a browser says that the bandwidth has been exceeded for the day.

I keep hoping I can get access to the CSS so I can save it off and perhaps host it somewhere else. But so far, the bandwidth message keeps coming up every time I try. :(

Something is weird, because I could always see your personal layout on your IJ, even when you very first posted it was gone. I can see it now, too. Every time I have looked, it's been there... but this one, no.

I wonder if you're just getting cached views from your browser?

Well, I was all set to say that I didn't think it was cached versions of the pages when suddenly everything is back to normal at both of my journals and I can again directly access my CSS! Did you wave a magic wand? LOL

Of course, that really doesn't help the community layout, which is still gone. It still looks like a CSS access problem to me (albeit different from the one I was having). But I'm not even close to knowing what I'm talking about at this point, so I'm hoping that pixie can make it all better for the comm.

Thanks for your help!

If you'd like to host your layout on the BrianJustinLove.com domain, just let me know. I have plenty of extra bandwidth. :)

Thanks! Pixie gave me a suggestion to try which may allow me to just put my whole CSS directly into IJ. But if that doesn't work, and I'm still having problems, I'd love to take you up on that. :)

Let me talk to Callie and see if we have your css saved somewhere.

I see you've got it back now. ;)

I believe that the "overflow problem" which is the cause of us deciding on hosting your layout externally has been solved, so you could probably copy/paste the whole css override into the text box/"CSS override codes area" on the customize section if you'd like.

Let me know if you want me to help you out with that. It would eliminate any problems with bandwidth on external hosting websites. ;)
