So, a friend of mine sent me an mp3 of Vanilla Twilight by Owl City. As I was listening to the lyrics, I kept thinking "Aw, Brian misses Justin." I would love to see if a vidder could tackle this with scenes of the times Brian misses Justin intermingled with times they reunite--particularly the two street scenes where Brian meets Justin post 507 break-up (and the proposal reunification). I absolutely adore Snow Patrol. They are a fantastic live band, very funny, crazy and yet still down-to-earth. And today I heard their new single "Just say yes" on the radio. Naturally I thought of Brian and Justin. lol And my next thought was that this song would make a great fanvid.

I was just on Youtube and was looking at one of my favorite old videos. This song was done way back in the 80's (way back in the stone age for some) but I've always loved it and never forgotten it. About two weeks ago I went to a Depeche Mode concert. I've been listening to their songs a lot since then, to one particular song more often than to the others. It's "A question of lust". Reading through the lyrics I got a deep craving for a B/J vid or, in fact, anything QaF related (other couples/relationships etc.) set to this song.
So, if someone would take pity on me and that bunny, I'd be eternally grateful.

[info]maxymama and I were over on [info]teh_daily_love discussing some our favorite Brian and Justin noises. It all started from an innocent discussion about teh love gaze between B and J right before the bike!kiss scene. Maxymama mentioned Brian's grunt as he goes in for the smooch.

The words to the song are so them, there are several phrases in the song that depict their love and relationship from, the walls that were built are tumbling down, to standing in the light of your halo, I've got my angel now. I was listening to the song "He's The Greatest Dancer" by Sister Sledge the other night and even though the title/choruses do NOT describe Brian, the verses themselves fit perfectly. I think it would be terrifically funny if someone did a vid illustrating this juxtaposition.
