DIAGON ALLEY
Ten years after the war, former Death Eater and Unspeakable, Augustus Rookwood, has been released from Azkaban. Intelligent and ruthless, no time has been wasted since Rookwood became a free wizard.
Deep in the shadows, Rookwood has continued the work he once began in the Department of Mysteries all those years ago. Rookwood and his followers have hatched a plan that will allow the walls between the Magical and Muggle worlds to come toppling down for good.
With the binds of Magic stretched, the nature of Magic itself has become restless. Flitting from Magic user to Muggle and back again, there is no clear answer on how to stop this from happening.
Witches and Wizards are awaking where there were muggles before. Purebloods are going to bed with all their Magic one night and waking up with none the next day. No one is safe.

milliways_bar is a medium-fast paced, community-based, prose-based panfandom jamjar game, set in a tavern and its grounds at the End of the Universe.
Characters are allowed to move freely from their world to the titular Bar At The End Of The Universe through doors - which on their side of the door might be anything from a porthole to a hole in the ground, and from there can either willingly move back and forth between worlds, stay upstairs at the Bar's inn or be "Bound" or trapped at Milliways without an escape hatch back for any length of time.

It's a feeling that can't be explained, but you spend your life trying to explain it, trying to make sense of it. Valar explores a duality embodied within each character.
One version of the self exists in Orange County, living a life that seems ordinary, sounds ordinary, feels ordinary. The real self, whatever that might mean, exists only in a time and place which you are just starting to remember. As characters grow and live and interact with each other, they embark on a journey to piece together fragments of their half-forgotten dreams. They have to come to terms with who they really are, and what this life means to them.

All war has a cost. As the final curses were uttered on the battlefield of Hogwarts on May 2nd, and the Death Eaters reign of terror - indeed, Voldemort himself - was ended, the world began the process of healing. The wizarding world was wrong.
As the world began to repair itself, the world began to notice something strange. Hogwarts registry was beginning to decline, the maternity ward became emptier and emptier. Regardless of the conspiracy theory anyone chooses to believe, the reality was clear: Wizarding kind was facing its end. Though there were several proclamations that were issued after the war, each one meant to better society, there was none so important as the tenth -- the initiative to save wizarding kind from extinction.

It is 1783, a year of disaster and miracles. This is the world that Jane Austen would write of. Here, however, magic and monsters waiting in a shadow realm for the time when they will be released into our Earth.
From drawing room to mine shaft, people across Cornwall will be faced with supernatural threats unlike anything the world has seen before. Friendships will form, enemies will battle, lovers will unite, and vengeance will be taken.
An original character, alternate universe game loosely inspired by and using ideas from Georgian- and Regency-era novels and films such as the works of Jane Austen, Poldark, and Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.

It starts with a man cooking his breakfast. It's Sunday, he thinks. It must be Sunday, because it was Saturday yesterday, and even though he can't seem to remember yesterday finishing, the sun is slung low in the sky of a new morning. His head hurts, and the memory loss is slightly disorientating, but he is hungry, and soon his wife and child will be awake and eating with him and he will put this discomfort aside. Sure enough, his wife enters the kitchen. He drops his frying pan from the surprise of her scream. It's Tuesday, not Sunday. It's a year after his death.
Reoccurrence is an alternate universe Harry Potter roleplay set in 2005, seven years after the second war. It takes inspiration from French drama, Les Revenants, and BBC's In The Flesh. It asks the question: what would the wizarding world look like if the people we thought were gone returned one day?

Humanity has finally understood what the Precursors' ultimate plan is: to inhabit all worlds. All realities. They had decimated worlds before, wiped out entire galaxies. And if humanity were going to lose ground here, it wasn't just their world that was at risk. Not anymore. They just had the chance to hold the line for the entire multiverse, for all of reality.
The Global Council gave Marshall Shida the authority to activate the Reaper Device, which began puncturing holes in space and time, creating smaller fissures that were large enough for a single human to fall through. People from other worlds, other places, to help in the biggest fight of all time.
The clock has been reset, ticking down to the next Kaiju attack. Production has been ramped up as much as is physically possible in whatever factories stand, Jaeger parts being shipped to the Hong Kong Shatterdone as soon as they are ready to be assembled into new Jaegers. Fissures have started opening, concentrated in the open bay in the Shatterdome - as much as is possible - and an Entry Team stands by to attend any identified pulses to brief the newcomers on where they are, what has happened and to give them a communication device to access the ShatterNet.
As Marshall Shida said, Ladies and Gentlemen, of all worlds and times, we are reality's last hope. Let us begin.
