Valentine's Day. It's kind of like a holiday that revolves all around love. I always thought it was pretty corny.

It sounds it?

Don't need one day to show how you feel about someone. That'd be an insult on Mandalore, day like that.

What do people do?

An insult? Seriously?

Well, some people don't do anything. Some people just spend a nice, simple day together, and some people go all out with flowers and candy and all that stuff. I never celebrated it though, so I'm not really the best person to ask.

Hugely Insulting yes. Our love is a private sort of thing. When we marry we say our vows alone, away from everyone cause they're no ones business but ours.

Then we invite our friends and have a celebration, but the vows themselves the words said to each other. The loveshared, thats for the couple alone.

I just don't understand why one day is so publicised. Is it some long held tradition?

That sounds nice. But yeah, it's...well, I don't know how long it's been going on, but for a long, long time, I guess.

Its how its always been on Mandalore. We say that if you have to constantly profess your love to all and sundry then you don't truly feel it. Real love lives in the hearts of the people involved and is no one elses concern.

Our weddings celebrate happiness at the newly formed bond. Nothing else.

I'll be ignoring it. Unless I have to work it.

It's not really meant for people to walk around shouting it from the rooftops. It's just about showing the person you care about that you...care. No, you don't need a special day, but it's nice to have one. And I can't believe I'm arguing the point. Sam, what the hell did you do to me?

Yes but all this cards and flowers and candy. Two people in love shouldn't need that to proove their love, and if they do why just on this one day. To me it sounds like a way for businesses to make a lot of credits out of dinii

People go drinking, I've seen the posters nights out at higher prices, to show your love.

I could never be a part of something like that. It degrades the bond of love in my opinion

Anything to make a quick buck, since money makes the world go round.

And you're allowed to have your opinion. You're not the only one who feels that way.

Oh I'm a firm believer in money. I am a Bounty Hunter. Money is kind of the reason for all that.

Course not most people will hopefully see it for what it is and not participate. With me its probobly cultural. I just can't fathom it

And those cards and candy and flowers pull in a lot of cash.

We'll see. I have no idea what Valentine's Day would be like here. Knowing L.A., something would probably blow up or incinerate.
