who; Starscream & Skyfire
where; On the street, en route to the zoo, maybe.
when; Say the fourteenth, roughly noon.
summary; Starscream hates being cooped up inside.
rating; Umm.. well. I'm going to go ahead and label it PG-13, for possible sexiness involving two ex-mechs.
Status; In progress.
Starscream, a Seeker by build, had never much cared for being stuck anywhere for long. So it was really no surprise that he took every opportunity he could to be outside Mikaela's apartment. It wasn't unexpected, then, that he'd snatched Skyfire away from whatever he'd been studying and had dragged him down the stairs and out onto the street with no explanation apparent. To be honest, it was liberating for the former soldier---with no war present, no Megatron or Optimus Prime to concern himself with, and with his long-lost bond-mate at his side, Starscream was really feeling a bit giddy over the entire experience. Being human, while inconvenient, was also a strange sort of blessing. Like a.. second chance for them. For him. A chance for him to be the mate and lover he hadn't had the chance to become, with Skyfire torn from him when they were still both so new to their bond.
Well-- perhaps not new, but certainly their parting had still been premature.
"We're going to the zoo," he finally told the other man, arms curled around one of Skyfire's, fingers laced together---and who cared what other people thought of the sight. If anyone said anything, he'd rip out their optics. "There are dozens and dozens of Earth-creatures in it, and I thought you might like the chance to see them all." It was a good place to start Skyfire off at, and it was outside, with a clear view of the sky, so it made Starscream happy, as well.
Though he wouldn't complain if Skyfire got distracted by something and they never made it to the zoo, either---as long as they were together, Starscream would be happy staring at a puddle for a couple of hours.
"Besides," he added after a moment, having considered the matter for several hours the day before, "we need to soon see what we can do about finding a home and ways to support ourselves. Mikaela has already done enough, and she's only one human girl.." He felt his spark twinge a bit at that---yes, he'd have to find some way to repay her for her kindness to both of them. He just didn't know how.
