Upcoming Plot -- Quidditch Opener:

We're looking for volunteers! See, Caro and Dovie hate sports, and especially Quidditch. Yeah, we suck. :-/ If any of you do like sports, we'd like a volunteer (or two or three, if there's that much interest) to write up a radio transcript of the opening professional Quidditch match of the season, suitable for "broadcast" on the WWN (in something like a play format, if it makes any difference). So, anyway ... any takers? If not, we cannot be held responsible for the crappiness of the transcript we will eventually write ourselves. ;-)


ETA -- Operation: Thread Reconstruction:

In case you haven't heard, squeaky is planning to update the site code this coming Wednesday. Hopefully, this is going to take care of the disappearing comments problem IJ has been having. Now, if it does (*crosses fingers*), and comments appear to be stable following the update, at some point in the future we are going to attempt to undertake a reconstruction of the threads that have lost comments. This is just a heads up, however, so everybody can start thinking about the logistics of reposting everything. After we have performed enough backups of old threads to determine that comments are actually stable, we will probably ask for suggestions of how best to go about reconstructing threads. So basically, this is just FYI.
