It's a mean world that I've known, now you'll find me where the devil don't go
Characters: Nick, Jess, Daimon, Wanda, OTA who'd want to see Wanda after in the prison medical area
Setting: The Space Raft prison cell where Wanda's being kept, also in Wanda's head
Content: Exorcism and whatever terrible things that entails
Summary: Jess brings Daimon to meet Nick, so Daimon can get that demon out of Wanda
Fury was watching a demonstration of some new technology adapted from an alien spacecraft when Sheila's voice sound in his ear. There was someone in his Director's office at S.H.I.E.L.D.'s command center who needed to see him immediately. "Can it wait?" He muttered, even as he realized that Sheila wouldn't have interrupted anything on his schedule without good reason.
"It's important," she informed him. "Jessica Drew is here." Nick grimaced, both at the thought of an awkward encounter with Jessica and at what he figured that encounter was probably about. As if she'd read his mind, Sheila added, "It's about the Maximoff situation." Heaving a sigh, he muttered that he was on his way and rose to interrupt the demonstration and make his apologies.
Nick spent the trip back to headquarters wondering what exactly Jess was here to tell him. Jessica had access to the viewing room above Wanda's cell, and he hoped she had the sense not to waste his time (or her own) asking to be allowed inside it. That was one nasty demon, and they'd figured out pretty quick that it needed almost complete isolation. There was simply no way Nick was going to let Jess in there to be taunted or manipulated by the thing.
At his office in the command center, Nick delayed a minute to get messages from Sheila and was informed that a stranger was there with Jessica as well. Fury wasn't sure whether to be relieved or not that he wouldn't have to be alone with Jessica, but he tried not to think too hard about it and entered his office with a skeptical look at Jessica and a man he didn't recognize. "Jessica," he greeted her with a nod and held out a hand to Daimon. "Who's this?"
