Characters: Teddy Altman & Open to SHIELD, ARMOR, or heroes
Setting: Just off shore in the Hudson River, New York NY
Summary: The Unexpected Return of Hulkling...and a Midtown apartment building.
It was like something out of a sci-fi movie. It was rather nice day in New York City, mid temperatures, clear skies, the air just starting to crisp over in preparation for fall. Just like a flash of lightning, suddenly it was there in the sky, something that certainly wasn't supposed to be in the sky. It was a twelve story apartment building. With a loud boom that sounded like God had just turned on a gigantic vacuum cleaner, and in a bright flash of light, the building appearing a good hundred or so feet above the Hudson River just off shore of Manhattan. It hovered there for a moment before suddenly plummeting downward and crashed into the waters.
With a large splash, the bricks settled, the furniture inside crashed around, and everything was suddenly still. There, half submerged in the river, was, on its side, a building that had once vanished from New York. That particular building had one held two people inside it who vanished along with it, but only one had returned.
Teddy Altman lay on the wall, which was now the floor, of an apartment's living room. Furniture was ruined, wallpaper shredded, family pictures and nick-nacks trashed everywhere. The boy with the shaggy blonde hair and green skin let out a long, low groan. He heaved the fallen bookshelf off of him and tossed it aside. It was good that his strength had not abandon him. He looked around and slowly stood up, walking over to a shattered window. He looked outside. He wondered just what universe he had landed in this time.
