6 Month Celebration! & Mod!News
Ok, Islanders! We have a big event planned and want to bring you all in on the celebration!

ATBL has been up and running for sixth months as of June 3rd, and we, the staff, plans to celebrate. We are quite excited by this as, let's face it, in today's RP environment, comms hardly seem to last a month. And no, we're going to celebrate not by letting David get smashed, by sending everyone's characters on a dream vacation! No... really! We are asking players to group up in small groups of 2-4 characters and send your character anywhere--or any time--for 24-ish hours.

Lee has agreed to help us out with this little event, her character Mia has the ability to warp reality, and she is about to have a little power surge and start shooting people through time and reality. The way Mia's powers work, she will grant the 'wish' of the loudest want in a group, so if two characters both want to go somewhere, the one with the louder/stronger desire is going to get their wish 'granted.' Start looking for people to pair up with, it can be two friends hanging out who get sent somewhere, or just have tow strangers passing in the hall, have them tossed to the other side of the globe and make a new friend!

Now, we are asking for small groups of 2-4, there is a method to our madness. Lee is going to have her hands full moving Mia from thread to thread to throw characters around, so we're trying to limit the number of threads she has to make an appearance in. We also want this event to move fairly quickly, so huge groups where threads tend to drag on and on are not going to be helpful. We also want to encourage interaction and seem some truly awesome WTF out there threads, so we'd like for people to go in groups or pairs rather than one by one.

Mia has a bit of a control problem, so while people who are going back (or forward?) in time will be returned to Revolve in less than 24 hours, those who are tossed to different parts of the globe in the present day may need to be retrieved manually by Revolve staff, so there's opening for escape attempts there too. Additionally, if it is on your character's person when Mia pulls you back, it comes back with you. Guards might try and wrestle it away from you, but it comes back with you. Any time, any place, any reality is possible, so be creative. What is your character's biggest, deepest want? Let's make it a reality!

Thus far we have a few people confirmed going places, for organization place I am going to try and keep things updated here. Please reply with your plans for your character or ask to join in a group already going somewhere. These threads can be done anywhere, on threads, over gdocs or AIM and posted later, just do please share, we want to see the fun!

We will be having the monthly tournament on the 6th, however, anyone who takes part in the 6 months event will only be required to write out one thread for the tournament. This will let us keep the tournament up but not totally overwhelm you awesome people. Please sign your mutants up for the tourney here.
