It has come to my attention that Giovanni Sanfilippo, an evo and intern in our crime lab, has been included in the Shakespeare investigation as an honorary psychic detective. I trust Detective John Martin's discretion in this area, but I would advise all of you to exercise caution while working this kind of evidence into your take on the case.
Sanfilippo has been an intern here for almost ten months, and works closely with the ME at times. The information he has introduced is largely what we already know presented in a different format. If asked, he could describe Stone to a sketch artist because he's seen her body. He has been to the victims' houses, places of work, and been given the privilege of studying their personal information to help aid in his contributions. The only original theory Sanfilippo has offered is Winthrop Square parking garage where, as of yet, we've uncovered no physical evidence. The miraculous cleanliness of the dump sites and the bodies suggest there will be none. This is the kind of evidence that gets thrown out in court.
There is a reason statements from mediums don’t typically stand up in court: they’re very difficult to corroborate. This is a classic example.
