AWZ DRABBLE DAY!
Here’s how it works:
1) The challenge lasts for 24 hours, from 5am PST/7am CST/8am EST/1pm GMT/2pm CET/midnight NZ on May 15, until the same times on May 16.
2) At the top of each hour, we’ll post a drabble prompt to![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif)
no7_awz. The prompt might be a word or phrase – something like “green apples” perhaps – or it might be a photograph, or a video; or it might be something else that we haven’t thought up yet.
3) You will have until the end of the challenge to write a drabble based on that prompt. You can choose any AWZ characters you wish, put them in any setting, use canon or make up your own. The only rule is that your contribution must be a drabble.
NOTE: A drabble is 100 words, not including the title. No more, no less. Submissions that do not meet this format will be excluded.
4) Post your drabble to your journal and link it in the comments on the prompt you wrote it for.*)
5) You can write as many or as few drabbles as you like. You can write multiple ones for the same prompt. You can write one for every prompt. You can write one single drabble for the entire day. Whatever works for you.
6) The challenge will close at 5am PST/7am CST/8am EST/1pm GMT/2pm CET/midnight NZ on May 16. No drabbles will be accepted for the challenge after that (although you’re still free to continue writing them for as long as you want).
7) Any pairing, any scenario, whatever floats your boat. Don’t feel compelled to keep them DeRo-centric. We want variety!
8) Drabble sequences, double/triple drabbles, etc. are totally okay, as long as you don’t abuse that to write a single drabble longer than 100 words. **)
9) There will be prizes! Don’t know what yet, or even what categories there will be – heck, given our combined graphic talents, the prizes might be anything from a stick figure of a sheep to a video of us doing a naked rain dance. But prizes there will be, dammit!

**) Double/triple drabbles or drabble sequences are sets of two or more drabbles which may be used if you are telling a similar scene from different perspectives or have an over-arching theme.
For example, this is a triple drabble - you could post any of them as a separate piece but they have a common thread to connect them. This is a drabble sequence - there's an overarching theme, but again, you could post each separately and it would be fine. By contrast, this would be C-H-E-A-T-I-N-G:
Roman has never particularly cared for the smell and feel of leather until Deniz took him on a motorcycle ride. Even at Pride events, even at specialized shows at his favourite clubs, the kink left him cool, despite the odd encounter with oiled whips and customized restraints, supple from frequent use.
It’s not until he feels the seat of Marian’s motorbike vibrate between his thighs, not until he wraps his arms around Deniz and breathes in the scent of his borrowed leathers while the wind whips his hair into an irreparable mess, that he gets it.
When they finally stop…

… he’s not the least interested in the picnic Deniz packed, nor in the green surroundings. All he cares about is how that leather hugs Deniz’s ribs, how it clings to his shoulders and how the scent of it drives him wild.
Deniz frowns, looking concerned. “Are you okay…” he starts, then yelps when Roman grabs him and shoves him down, face first across the leather saddle of the bike. He nudges Deniz’ legs apart with one knee, pushes a hand beneath his jacket and the shirt below until he finds skin. Deniz moans. Roman smiles.
Leather. Most interesting.

See, it’s C-H-E-A-T-I-N-G because it’s really one 200-word ficlet, not two independent-yet-vaguely-connected drabbles.You cheater.
This is also cheating. It's technically 6 drabbles (or 4 plus a double drabble, if you want to get REALLY technical) but no one with a normal brain can tell, and it's all one connected story, so stuff like this is out. 100 words, okay! Keep it simple.
