Hey lovelies, we realize the email from the pres never went up, but it addressed the riots, the damage, and the future of Montenegrou sometime on the 7th. He would've stressed we are to remain strong, and that this may not be the last, that we will endure. He would've mentioned classes will start on the 17th, or this Monday, and that some of the classes in certain buildings (like the Music building) will be relocated for the time being. We apologize for putting it off this long.

We'd also like to make it known that the Greek taken page got so big we had to split it in three. We could go STOP APPING GREEKS, but... you know we won't. ♥ Also keep in mind we have an event coming up on the 15th!

Hola amigas, we have prepared a special post for you guys: the campus map! Right now it's not entirely set in stone -- there can still be new buildings or areas around campus that can easily be added, if you want to leave a comment in the post re: a new location. (Don't laugh at the lake -- that was drawn with the paintbrush tool and not the pen tool like it should've been.)

And we're working on that email! One of the mod's electricity went out, and bam, goodbye unsaved email document. But it will go up before the end of the night, though it will be backdated about two days because of mod fail.

Hey guys, we realize we never really clarified just how the protest ended or how long is lasted -- we left some of that up to you guys, but officially people were out of the city by yesterday! The riots were worse on the first two days, and became less hostile/violent by yesterday afternoon. Police barricades are still up in the downtown core, and the police presence has increased, but has become less prominent since this morning.

The university itself will be sending out a private email to all students and staff regarding the riots and how it'll affect the school. We have yet to finish the post, but classes will begin on the 17th while the town and school do some clean up. There'll be further instructions in the email!

Some students will be relocating to different buildings while the damage is repaired on campus. There wasn't too much, mostly damaged windows, doors, and graffiti. These include students in the Music department and in the Sciences building. Only for about a month's time or so!

We're hoping to finish the email for the morning, so please keep your eyes peeled. ♥

Godlings, if you ever felt you were safe in your own town, you should have doubted this long ago. Montenegro may feel like your safe haven, but never underestimate the anger of non-reincarnates. At 5pm on the 3rd, a protest is going to run down Georgia St. Strange cars from out of town will show up downtown and non-reincarnates will flood the street protesting against the existence of you. Protesters will come with signs and with banners. And they will come with anger and disgust.

The protest will begin on Georgia, but extend out into other streets as police barricades attempt to cut the protesters off. There will be violence. There will be vandalism. Angry protesters may invade your stores or throw bricks in your windows. School buildings may be broken into or vandalized. Should you feel courageous enough to brave the protest, do take care. This protest will be sparked by a post we will hopefully be able to stick up before the 2nd!

Rumors of a protest will be circulating after this OOC post. Whispers of something going down on Labor Day, but no one is really sure what. A parade? A protest? But of what, at what time? It's hard to say. As a result of this town event, school will be postponed until the 10th. Expect a post from the school president! Be afraid, reincarnates.

Dearest players, the mods have been putting their heads together to re-evaluate the game and the plot it is meant to run on. At the moment, our plot is event-based, revolving around the fact that the town is fighting against the influx of reincarnates. However, we've come to a conclusion that this isn't enough as a once-a-month deal.

So we are asking what you guys would like to see in terms of overall plot. We have a general idea we've been toying with, but would prefer to hear from you guys first. Our idea so far revolves around the identity of reincarnates, their place in the world, and how people should be reacting to them. But we don't wish to go any further than that before hearing your ideas!

Whether it's just for a feel (i.e. "I want things to get darker") or a plot idea, we welcome them all. Comments are screened!

Should things not work out, or if the mods don't feel this is sufficient, we may change it down the line, but not without player's suggestions. The application is never final -- we will always accept suggestions as to how it can be better! For how, however, we will try this and see how it works out.

This said, if anyone has already started their personality sections in prose format, please do not feel obligated to switch to this format. We only ask that for a new app, you use the new app form.

Dearlings, we have a couple of important announcements regarding the character limit, the application, and RAs! If you'll just ( follow this cut! )

Darling players, we have two issues we would like to bring up. First, the mods have been discussing the character limit and are wondering how to proceed with it. So we would like to ask you: would you like to keep the character limit where it is at 12, allow for a new and last slot of 13 with the next pantheon opening, or have the limit abolished entirely?

We are aware each one has its pros and cons, and we'd like to hear from you guys before making any final decisions. All comments are screened. Don't worry if we don't reply to you!

The other issue is regarding icons. We spoke of this toward the beginning of the game, but we feel it should be reiterated. Icons are not visible when threading. The only icon that should be visible is a default icon of your character's school ID picture. This means that sexy icon of Dionysus posing (hahaha) is not visible to anyone -- it will just appear as that default icon.

Therefore, we'd like to ask that people refrain from posting with just their icons. If you private something with it, that is understandable, but standalone icons only show up as the school ID picture. If this causes any problems, we apologize. If you've been playing it this way, you are not in trouble, we promise.

Dearest godlings, the event is now over. At the stroke of midnight, all the fireworks stopped going off, and Montenegrou was peaceful once again.

As a side note, we have rearranged the dorms so that all undergrads are on the second floor, with grads on the third. If this has caused any problems, we apologize. We realize the two dropped RAs are still present -- we will replace those RAs with NPCs for the moment until more students are apped onto the third floor. So please, lovelies, app some grads into the dorms! ♥

Happy 4th of July! Today running down Georgia St. is the 4th of July Parade, held every year for the past 30 or so years. In a small town, there are less floats than you'd expect, but that doesn't mean there's no music and dancing and festivities. It runs from 4 to 5.

The streets will probably be full with both regulars and reincarnates alike. Most stores are closed today, but some restaurants will be open until late, including Ambrosia Diner. If you need a list of what's open, just pick and choose! At 8:30, the fireworks begin over the lake. They'll last until 9:00! We recommend a spot on the lakeside to watch them.

And of course, Pan's party is tonight -- Angie will come home from her super duper volunteer job later to punt up a log if anyone wants to thread things.

Hello sweets, we'd like to announce a few changes. First off, reserves will now last a whole week rather than a day five days! Extensions are still for two days.

Secondly, we're changing our off-campus page! We realize it may be confusing as it is, so this is how it will work: please choose one of the follow settings for your character(s) to live in. If your character has roommates, please set up a thread for yourself (i.e. your name in the subject line, your character + who they're rooming with, and any details you think are necessary to include -- something like this!), and allow for your roommates' players to come in and reply with what they'd prefer. Alternatively, we encourage you to reach out to those players via email if that is easier. Please keep in mind your character's budget.

While we understand the selection may not be the biggest, we would like for characters to be neighbors to encourage further and new CR. If you can't remember where your character is going, refer here.

The current housing page will remain unchanged for a week, after which point what is now decided will be punted up on the real page. We ask that you decide now where they are living or where they will be living. Feel free to use this post to discuss, ask questions, or give suggestions! Without further ado:
