[ "Meet me at the hospital." ranks extremely low on the list of things you want to hear late at night, and needless to say Reid doesn't waste any time in getting over there. Luckily he got enough information out of Kitty to know that she's okay, and the rest is easily puzzled together from paying attention to the network. The memorial garden. Tyki. Cross.

It's not difficult at all to guess why she's there, and on the brisk walk to Sector 1 Reid had more than enough time to think and try to prepare for what's ahead. This, so close to Allen's disappearence..? It doesn't take a profiler to figure out the kind of stress that puts on a person. Enough for him to worry.]

[He goes with the tug all to easily, taking a step closer and lifting a hand to her waist — only to pull away a moment later. If there were no rules to break he would've gone with it, perhaps not nearly as easily as he did during the gas leak but he still would've. Even now, he wants to.

He leans down, takes a short moment to brush her hair back before letting his hand rest against her neck. [She's so comfortable to be around. That was the danger right from the start, how she so easily slipped in close and almost effortlessly opened him up. He worried more about that than he ever did over her past as an assassin, although it probably should've been the other way around. It doesn't matter anymore, all those worries are long since left behind.

He indulges in the kiss for a long, good moment, matching her motions and pouring in as much affection as he's capable of. Eventually he does break it, in part to breathe and in part because she still has other things to do.]

Go wash up. I'll be here when you're done. [This is not over, just put on pause.]

[She smiles when she pulls away. He just...makes her happy.] It's a plan. [But not before she sneaks in a quick kiss. Fast like bunny! Or a kitty in this case.]

Make yourself at home. Rummage through my stuff. Play with the computer. Whatever you're into. [She keeps the intense stuff under ground anyway.

She drops back toward the door.] There's a 98.4% chance I'll be thinking of you while I shower. [With a wink she disappears.]

[So fast and sneaky! He shoots her a smile that spills over into a laugh once she mentions the percentages, but aside from that he lets her departure remain uncommented on. Most of all he's not sure how to handle this. There may be some flustering.

This isn't the first time he's in her room, and just like the previous times he doesn't poke around too much. He does take the opportunity to take a closer look, but it's still pretty casual and most of all he's just waiting for her to return. Every other time has been awkward or weird or downright tainted with a slow-burning panic, but tonight he feels oddly relaxed. Maybe he doesn't feel like he knows how to handle girls or relationships or whatever you want to call this, but he's doing a pretty good job anyway... isn't he?

She seems happy around him. That's a victory right there.]

[She doesn't take long in the shower. That would just lead to musing over what she could have done differently earlier in the night. She also tossed the clothes she was wearing. It was wasteful, but she didn't want to deal with washing out the blood. She wouldn't want to wear those clothes again.

Instead, what time she does spend under the water she spends thinking about Reid as predicted. His hands. His kiss. His smile.

He's dangerous. She didn't expect to get this attached. She never saw him coming. But here he is. The question is will he stay?

She steps out of the shower again, wrapping a towel around her head to keep water from dripping out of her hair and she wraps another one around her body. She didn't actually take clothes with her, so it's back to the room she goes.]

Still here?
