[Video/Action | Open!] Event-esque~
[The video feed opens to a church hall, pews marching in even rows across the space. Although not terribly large the space is very open; stained glass windows cover the walls on every available space. The decorations are non-denominational -- scenes of sunrise and relaxing scenes, day and night and the four seasons, and a few generic scenes depicting peace and harmony. To the sides are doors, six on each side, leading to separate rooms. A small confessional is also present.]
[The altar area is simple; a plain but sturdy wooden table adored with candles and wildflowers. Beside it, Lacus is singing in the area where a choir would be. The song choice aside, great care was taken not to make the church focused on any one religion or deity.]
[As Lacus continues her song in the background, Neil addresses the camera:]
Good morning, Marina. I'm sure some of you have heard of this project Lacus and I have been working on. [ Gesturing to the scene behind him. ] Starting tomorrow, the church will be open for all who would make use of a place of worship. And, as it's non-denominational, everyone is welcome to come with whatever faith they have. [ He rubs at his neck. ] I'm afraid you'll have to request additional supplies from Acumen but he's usually pretty quick about these things.
[The song ends as Neil's explanation concludes, and Lacus approaches with, what else?, a smile.]
I hope everyone will come by and see the hard work we and the haros have done. We'll be serving refreshments outside. And anyone who might be interested in being a part of a choir, please do let us know!
Also, feel free to take this time to set up with us any schedules for public services if that's your thing! Priests, and the like, I mean. In the meantime -- we have a cover set up outside with some tables, and the grill is going. We hope to see you soon! [ With a two-finger salute, he disappears from the camera. ]
[ A few minutes later, Neil comes back on the feed, looking surprised, but pleasantly so. ] --oh, it looks like someone has volunteered to hold confessions! Since that room is finished, we'll have that service alone available for the next few hours, if anyone wants to stop by and get something off their chest, privately.
((OOC: Event style! Lacus and/or Neil may answer network replies; ANYONE can action with each other -- crashers included! Cross is going to be working for once, taking confessions for his own amusement. There is a designated thread for this. People are welcome to figure out who he is *if you know him well enough ICly* to recognize him by voice alone. The separate doors lead to other bright rooms that can be used for services that are more private/don't like the atmosphere in the main hall.))
