Activity Check : July 2012
Full activity check guidelines here.
Viable posts take place within July.
Respond before Tuesday, August 7 at 11:59pm EST.
• Comment here with one of these filled out for every character you play. You may post all characters in one comment.
• Make sure to fill out every field.
• If you are using less than five threads please delete the extras.
• Replace "THREAD" with a link to a qualifying thread your character participated in, and add the number of comments you made in the thread to "# COMMENTS". If you use a thread that includes over 25 comments you are welcome to write 25+ rather than counting all of it.
• Do not update the comment number once you've replied, but you are welcome to continue tagging. It will help us know there are at least that many comments in the thread.
You need 30 comments to pass full AC.
(Half AC is 15 comments if you are qualified with a hiatus)
These comments can come from:
• No less than two threads even if you have one thread that is 30+.
• No more than five threads.
• Different threads on the same post (your own post, threadjacking in someone else's post, or a mingle) as long as at least 5 comments come from a thread on a different post. Two different threads on the same post involving the same two characters will not both count, nor can they be added together.
• Any post with a date stamp within the month being checked regardless of when the comments were completed that is also tagged with your character's game tag.
Note:
• You may count a post you wrote as 1 comment, but only for one thread. If you submit multiple threads from the same post the numbers of the subsequent threads should not include the post.
• Remember to only count split comments (e.g. "1/3", "2/3" "done") as 1 comment.
• If your character is talking to one other character for a few tags and then a third character joins them for a 3-person back and forth thread you continue counting each of your character's tags and consider this one thread. However, if another person tags in and your character responds to each of them separately in ongoing threads then you can still choose to count all of your character's tags, but it now counts as two threads.
• Link only one thread at a time. On a mingle you may need to link in after your first comment to accomplish this. You can always make a note on your AC to say there is another comment above it.
All players who were in the game in July must respond to the activity check, unless you are on full hiatus for that month.
Notice: We added the "Note:" section here and to the AC guidelines for some clarification of a few details that come up now and then. We also added in "Two different threads on the same post involving the same two characters will not both count, nor can they be added together." just as a safety to prevent abuse to the system. Nothing else has been touched since you last read it!
Also, we know this system is new for everyone here, so if you have any questions please feel free to contact a mod directly or use the questions thread here if you aren't sure what counts. We'll also ask you for corrections before assuming something is a fail.
You can look at Haunt and Rica's AC as an example of how to fill it out.
