Hi everyone! We've decided that instead of having all characters turn back to normal on the same two days (this Sunday was for minor, next Sunday for major) that we'd give you guys the option of changing them back any time between the 16th and the 23rd. That way it's a little more spread out and gives you the ability to end the plot for characters if you'd like to move on.

All characters will retain their new memories. The ministry will make another announcement this weekend to let the public know the effects are starting to wear off and that their memories should be treated as nothing more than dreams. It's also safe for them to assume it was another prank by the same person who messed with the water at the festival.

Hello Lemoners! This is Sarah, bringing you a plot that everyone can participate in!

Background:

Greg deals in the trade of all objects, especially dark ones (for an extra fee of course). Next week, on Sunday, he'll be receiving a package from a foreign dealer for a client. It's a Fountain of Youth and Wisdom-it contains charmed water that can either age or deage a person for a limited amount of time. Unfortunately, Greg is an idiot. While delivering the fountain covertly to Borgin & Burke's for his deal, he tripped and dropped the fountain. It didn't break, and people didn't notice too much at the time, but the effects of the potion takes between 20 minutes and 24 hours to take effect, depending on the strength of the dose. Oops?

Effects:

Here are my thoughts on this. If you think there should be something different or there's something that concerns you about any of this, please let me know in the suggestion section. I'm not a mod, and I have no ego involved, so I'd love any help if you think we should tweak!

Those who had drops of water on them will be affected by the spell. Depending on the part of the fountain the water came from, your character will either be aged up or down. Some who had droplets of water fall on them will be affected much more-they will not know they have been altered in age. Their memories will be altered accordingly-so if they are younger, they won't remember anything from after that time period. Older? They will remember being married etc depending on your wishes. These effects will last 2 weeks. Some will just get some vapor on them-these characters will have their appearance change, but their memories will stay intact. The effects will only last up to a week. If you're majorly affected, the spell begins sooner (within 20 minutes of the water hitting you), minorly, later (up to a day after it). It might take some time for people to figure out what happened since it's a delay start and people might not have felt water fall on them.

When does this happen:

Next Sunday is when the thought was that the Great Greg Fall occurs. The effects would begin either that day or Monday (depending on how much they were affected) and last until the following Sunday for minor damage or the Sunday following for major. That gives a week for plotting to occur! If you think we need more/less time, let us know.

What do you need to do:

So, here's where you come in. You can choose any/all of your characters to have been affected or none at all. This is an OPT-IN plot. No one is forced to participate. If you don't want to be involved, no worries. If a character that yours has a line with is potentially affected, you can plot here to discuss how that might play out. For the ease of the plot, please comment with your characters, whether or not they are affected, how much they are affected, and which memories have been implanted/lost. Also, please choose a new age appropriate PB for your character that you'll use during the plot to make sure we dont have duplicates. Then, you can comment to each other to hash out plots between affected characters. Also, if you have suggestions on how this plot should be carried out, feel free to comment on the suggestions box and we can always incorporate things.
