Tutorial #4
Several weeks ago maxymama asked how I made the header that's on my journal. I found the image that I used with the steps for how I made the 'sketch effect'. Not sure what else to call it! Anyway, hope this is interesting to someone out there.
Here's my base image:
I added a new layer with color 925206 set to soft light at 72.9 opacity.
The result:
A new layer with this texture set to addition at 100 opacity:
The result:
Another new layer with this texture set to screen at 76.1 opacity:
The result:
Then I added a white gradient set to screen at 84.3 opacity. The black background is not part of it. I only put that on this image so you could see the white gradient.
The result:
This is the last layer with the texture set to color at 49.4 opacity.
Final result:
