Hello lovely people of Gooseberry! I'm Emma 2.0 (classical) and I'm really excited to be here. Umm. I'm a registered nurse and I work in the operating room, which means my job is pretty much a Monday through Friday gig. I like stuff and do things? The best way to get ahold of me is email since I can answer that at work even when I can do tagging. But enough about me and onto my characters!

Drusilla Goshawk (language) -- Azurcrest senior. Originally Gryffindor. Half-blood. Youngest of nine children. From Inishmore, Ireland. Quidditch Keeper. Involved in Event Committee. Outdoor Exploration. Ridiculously outgoing and likes to push boundaries. Her grandmother wrote The Standard Book of Spells and her mother is famed Irish National Team Chaser Aoife Moran. Has an Irish accent. Read all about her here!

Ulysses Quayle (postmodern) -- Ebonhide junior. Originally Pukwudgie. Pure-blood. Youngest of three children. From Olympus, Tennessee. Quidditch Chaser. Involved in Choir and Drama. Nice enough. Heavily involved in music and more on the quiet side. His father has quite the chatter of becoming the next president and his mother is basically magical Martha Stewart. Has a twangy accent. Hi Emma! I'm Heather and I have Dominic and Tabitha.

Drusilla - Tabitha is a fellow senior so they may have classes together!

Ulysses - also pureblood, Tabitha's father is a senior MACUSA rep with high political record and her mother runs the PA branch of the Witches' Institute. She was Pukwudgie the year above him and is also a Drama and Choir person! Dominic is the same year as him so may have classes together too.

I just have Iris Shacklebolt!

Iris and Drusilla would know each other really well! She's also a Senior, though she's in Coppertale, but she was also a Gryffindor! So they shared a dorm! She's also a member of the Outdoor Exploration. She's the daughter of the current Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt. So she knows all about having people recognize her by family. I think they could get along really well! This is Iris first year at Gooseberry, but she's happy to know someone really well from Hogwarts.

She'll also be kind to Ulysses!

Hi I'm Emma Prime. I only have Katya Ivanova here but she's an Azurcrest junior from Russia and at this point I'm pretty sure this entire house has awesome accents. She's stupidly rich and far too nice so I'm sure Drusilla will know her.

As for Ulysses I'm pretty positive that Katya has done everything she can to make friends because she's pretty determined to be friends with the quiet kids. I don't know why. I think they at least have a few classes together!

Hi Emma! Welcome to the game! I'm Meggie, one of the mods, and I have three characters here.

Diego Morales (this journal) is a pureblood senior Azurcrest, and he's on the cheer squad, so he and Dru will probably see a lot of one another. Diego is a talented musician with a ridiculous hipster band, and he's exceptionally friendly. He's also very impulsive and insecure, which led to him cheating on his ex-girlfriend, Tabitha, last year. He's probably been flirty with Dru in the past, and is obviously enthused about the Azurcrest team. He's a good friend of Henrietta, Dru's captain. Ulysses might know him from the pureblood connection, but the Morales family is not politically involved and are mostly rooted in South America. He's in drama with Ulysses, though!

Reid Wainwright (

unresponsive) is a muggleborn Coppertale junior, and a Chaser for their team. Reid was the Coppertale Seeker last year but his focus was... lacking. He sometimes missed the Snitch because he wasn't paying attention, and had limited interest in winning. His captain this year decided that was bullshit and is going to reassign him to Chaser. Reid is kind of an ice prince, and his social skills are lacking. He'll know both of them through Quidditch! And he was also in Ulysses' year at Ilvermorny, but in a different house.

Calvin Evercreech (

evercreep) is a Sophomore Ribbonfin, and a fellow Hogwarts exchange student. Calvin is a former Slytherin, and Dru might vaguely remember he and his clique were some really awful little bullies. Now Calvin's at the bottom of the food chain, and he's more likely to get picked on than pick on anyone. He's still pretty unpleasant, whiny, and not really good at being gentle with people. HE'S GOTTEN BETTER, THOUGH??

hello, other emma! i am the only kas! one, it is the loneliest kas. i have kurt, ribbonfin junior and also a former pukwudgie! and also also in drama. shy guy, stutter, but a killer actor in drama club and won't shut up via journals. if they weren't friends at ilvermorny, ulysses wouldn't have heard much out of him; if they were, he would have been comfortable enough to chat. animal lover, attempted ray of sunshine (when he's not planning to hide in a cave for the rest of his life because girls), good friend but hard to become one. where do you think ulysses would have stood on this then & now?

(he and drusilla don't cross paths much!)

at the moment, i've only the one -- zoey, ribbonfin senior, chaser, potions whiz, wannabe seer, part of a band here on campus w diego & levi. mostly calm & sweet with a tiny rebellious streak. her mum's irish so she might be intrigued by drusilla -- also the famous quidditch moher thing. c: they have that game in common, as well as like a million classes it looks like? so there's that.

i think she and ulysses would get along too c: ♥ they both chase and are into music-y stuff, and z knows what it's like to deal with familial expectations that maybe don't perfectly align with what you want from life (she's been slowly realizing she maybe doesn't wanna focus on the things her mum wants her to). :u they alsooo have classes in common. yeyy

1. Nathaniel Bird,

flyover, Ebonhide Senior, prefect, so HAY ULYSSES WHAT'S UP. Nate is also a p quiet kid, mostly pretty nice, kinda tightly wound, mostly interested in making sure he does good in school because he wants to do everything ever.

2. Riley Stamper, this journal, Azurcrest Junior, cheer squad. She went to Hogwarts on exchange last year where she was a slytherin and also everyone hated her. Or, well, the Slytherins did. She is also from a big family (though hers is just six kids, not Irish big) and likes to push boundaries and I predict a lot of points being taken from Azurcrest this year basically.

Hey, I'm Madeline and I've got two here:

This guy here, Holden Bright, junior Ribbonfin and Quidditch seeker - and being looked at by lots of people when he's on the pitch is pretty much the only time he's okay with any attention whatsoever. Shy, conflict avoiding, and often times throws himself under the bus to avoid said conflict. Easily manipulated, follower to the nth degree, thrives for his safe space.

And Sylla Borgin -

sibyls, junior Ebonhide and Hogwarts exchange student, formerly in Slytherin. One of eight Borgin kids of the shady power couple who run Borgin & Burkes now, all of which went to Hogwarts and clung really close together, and also 7 of the 8 were girls who all pretty much looked the same, and were just as unsettling and strange. She grew up not knowing all her weird morbid interests weren't normal for a little Northern English girl to have, so she's basically if Guillermo Del Toro designed a Disney princess. She's obsessed with dueling and animagus studies, and despite the creepiness is still sweet and polite and enthusiastically talkative, but can get sensitive and withdrawn, especially if you talk shit on her family because they are basically her whole life and source of emotional stability.

Hey Emma! It's Emily and I have two here too (though I see you're holding another so you'll have me beat soon!)

This one is Bailey Hartman and she's a homeschooled Canadian girl, and a junior in Ebonhide like Ulysses! Also quietish but kind of awkward and unintentionally blunt in a sort of logical way, aaaaas you could probably tell from her entry. She grew up on a bison ranch and got a scholarship to come to Gooseberry, which she wasn't actually too keen on but her family pushed her to do it. She's really interested in animals and pretty outdoorsy.

The other one is Faye Turner (

overturn), a senior Coppertale from Texas (and sort of Georgia, but mostly Texas). Both of yours would be familiar with her because she's a chaser! She also went to Ilvermorny, and she was in Wampus. She is in a ton of extracurriculars including Choir. She's tough AND girly.

I think of ours, Faye would more likely get along with Dru and Bailey with Ulysses. But Faye is the more outgoing one so she'll probably talk to Ulysses too!

Hello Emma and welcome!!! c: I'm sorry we had to number you, lol. I'm Marin, the other mod, and I've got three here I'll just through really quickly.

Sylvester "Sy" Stoker, Coppertale junior, Chaser and new Quidditch captain. Ambitious father involved in politics (Ulysses), Shit-talks competitors (Dru, Ulysses), obnoxiously hits on girls (Dru), but can be fun if you can tolerate alpha male douchebaggery. If Dru wants a shallow past fling, try Sy on for size.

Wilhemina "Mina" Tran, Ebonhide senior. Knows Ulysses from Drama/Choir. Knows Dru from Event Committee, where she tries to take over everything. She's got rough edges but has a soft spot for housemates, so she'd be relatively nice to Ulysses, and just hate Dru flat out.

Ravinder "Ravi" Dhaliwal, Ribbonfin senior, Muggleborn prefect. Probably won't know either Dru or Ulysses very well, but he's a nice dude, tries to be helpful to everyone, will pop up from time to time to enforce rules. He really DOESN'T want to, but Azurcrest just loves pushing boundaries. :|

Hi Emma, I'm Manx! I am going to cheat and respond to all three of your characters here because I am slow to post this. :c

I play Ursula de Luca, a Ribbonfin junior. She is not-so-affectionately called princess around these parts and is a notorious gossip and troublemaker. Ursula is default friendly with most people and she comes from New Money wealth.

DRU. Ursula is also a member of the Event Committee! Otherwise, they're a year apart and in different houses, so not too much regular overlap.

ULYSSES. Ursula is a future Parent with High Expectations and revels in her familial obligations, so these two probably are not seeing eye to eye much. As long as the conversation stays light, they seem like they would be friendly enough.

XAVIER. Fellow Ribbonfins! And Ursula is joining LARP this year though she will be terrible and just want people to call her princess in a non demeaning way. Ursula is something of a champion of the meeker Ribbonfins and also shares Xavier's dislike of quick decision making, but she hides this by barking at other people to figure stuff out. :c She pretty much considers all other Ribbonfins to be among her friends.

Ree is a sophomore Azurcrest and she basically wants to make out with ("snog") Dru for the accent alone. They're on the team together! She's also outgoing to the extreme and a boundary-pusher. She takes no shit and speaks no shit either. BASICALLY SHE IS WONDERFUL LOVE HER. We already decided that she and Ulysses are cousins, yay! We need to decide how close, and how appalled Magical Martha Stewart is by her niece.

Isaiah Covington

icovington is my senior Ribbonfin introvert. He is also heavily into music, though, and spends all his time in the music room whenever possible, so he and Ulysses should be familiar and perhaps even friendly. Dru intimidates the hell out of him.

And Gabi Flores

gabiflor is a sophomore Ribbonfin with a naivete problem. Always optimistic, sweet and forgiving. No reason to really know yours but she is nice.

Hi Emma! I'm Josie and I have two here:

Pippa Nightingale, Ribbonfin sophomore, new to Gooseberry from Hogwarts (former Hufflepuff). She might ask Drusilla for ~advice~ on settling in here or just be curious about why Drusilla chose to stay and graduate from Gooseberry. (Pippa is curious about a lot of things, sry.) As for Ulysses, Pippa will know him from Choir but otherwise probably not interact with him much?

Henrietta Gray (

unregrettable), Azurcrest senior and Quidditch captain. Will definitely know Dru!! Friends y/y?? Or is Drusilla disappointed she didn't make captain this year? Het will also know Ulysses from the pitch, and is always up for casual makeout sessions if that is a thing Ulysses is into...?
