You can post your list from now until September 30.

The fest begins on October 1 and runs until November 4. Between those dates, work hard, and post often, and leave feedback for everyone doing the same.

YOUR LIST:

Make a list of items that you want to finish in five weeks. These items can be as large as a prompt table or nevel-length fic, or as small as a drabble. Those items can be pieces of something, such as chapters of a long fic. It really depends on what you think you can get done in that time. It should add up to something significant, something that makes you feel accomplished at the end.

Post that list in the community. TAG IT with "List, your username."

As you finish those items, post links to them in the community. Tag your posts with your username.

Go back to your initial list (which you can find by going to the tag! asylums.insanejournal.com/finish_a_thon/tag/your username) and put a strike through, or otherwise check off, the item you've finished.

POINTS:

One point for each post you make that isn't your list or a finished item. This can be a piece of something up for critique, a question, a request for help, a piece that will add up to the item you finish items (ie, a chapter of your WIP, an item from a 100-piece prompt table), an open discussion re. fandom, writing, drawing, blockage, something relevant to the community.

Up to five points for each meme challenge you participate in. These should relate to your pieces and encourage you to finish more and/or share what you have. There will be one posted each Tuesday during the challenge.

Three points for each item you finish on your list.

Sixty points for completing your list. Because after all, that's what this community is really about.

REWARDS:

Most importantly, you feel like you accomplished something.

Everyone who completes their list will get a participation banner.

The three people with the highest points will receive an additional banner: a love/color bar of choice: a specific fandom or character, a more general fandom thing like slash or femmeslash, or giant robots, or whatever. Your choice.

RULES/FAQ

All fandoms are welcome.

All pairings, slash (yaoi), het, femmeslash (yuri), gen, all ratings, kinks, squicks, anything, is welcome.

You won't be posting your finished things in this community, just links to them. Please include the fandom, characters, rating, and any necessary warnings in your posts.

TAG all of your posts with your username or the Ravenous Bug Blatter Mod of Trall will eat you.

Do not change the colors in your posts, as everyone uses different styles and colors in their IJ.

No flaming, no fandom or ship wars. If you can't accept that there are fandoms, pairings, or sexual preferences outside of the ones you prefer, this isn't the community for you.
