Truly great mascara

I went to Seattle recently, and brought with me a sample of CHANEL INIMITABLE MASCARA MULTI-DIMENSIONNEL sent to me by my BFFs at Chanel. I was getting ready to go out, and put it on, and immediately let out a loud squee of joy, because never in my life have I seen my lashes transform so totally as they did with that one stroke of the brush.

This stuff is unbelievable. It's what I always thought mascara should be and never was.

Okay, it's what I always thought my LASHES should be and never were.

It's not waterproof, but they have a waterproof formula I haven't tried. It lasts all night and even when I sometimes "forget" to take it off before I go to bed, amazingly doesn't leave dark rings under my eyes the next day.

This is the best mascara I've ever used, by which I mean, until now I had never actually used mascara. I'd used black stuff that went on my lashes and then betrayed my hopes and dreams.

Since I was in Seattle, I immediately ran out and bought two tubes at the original Nordstrom.

I have always hated mascara for two reasons. First, it tends to clump on me, and second, my lashes feel like they weigh 5000 pounds. Tell me that this doesn't do that.

Ooh, ooh! I so need this. I look like a raccoon at the end of the day with the mascara I have right now, and I know I'm not smearing it around my eyes like that. I may have to get this soon and hope it works for me.

I have a terrible time with "raccoon eyes" too, but two things have cured it. This mascara, and also the Chanel pencil... not the one with the smudging tip, though, that one does smear. But the regular black pencil doesn't.

I'll have to try this stuff. I'm really finicky when it comes to mascara. I have naturally curly and thick lashes, but using something to make my eyes go va-va-voom has been a challenge.

My lashes are dark and thick but very straight and very short... let me know how it does on yours!

For those of you wondering if Xie actually exclaimed OMG look at my eye lashes when she put the mascara on in Seattle...she did, and it was very adorable and her lashes did look lovely and they framed her pretty green eyes and each sweep of her lashes were completely sigh worthy.

She might even tempt me away from my beloved Estee Lauder.

Well, I finally hauled my ass to Neimans yesterday & bought myself the Chanel mascara with the longest name in the cosmetic universe....and it is freakin' awesome!

*BOWS DOWN TO THE MASCARA GURU THAT IS XIE*

And since I am a product junkie---but an IJ idiot---how do I join this loverly asylum....Is that the same as friending? Please help---your minions need you!

I do love it and thanks for the joining info...I've actually removed my eyelash curler from my cosmetic bag because I no longer have any use for it!

This is seriously good mascara - I was incredibly doubtful when I was persuaded to try it - but it truely is worth it! I am a convert.
