[Anonymously Private to Daenerys Targaryen]

Your dragons are but babes, aren't they? How disappointing.

Those who can be burned by fire must make quick friends with the shadows.

King's Landing is waiting to be taken, but only for a short while. After the new King moves in with his witch, your dragons will have to fight instead of reap.

[There is a long pause, the temptation is great.]

What good is it to take King's Landing when I cannot hold it

There are no new Kings, only false ones. Tell me at least where I may find you if you choose not to give your name.

To be honest, I grow weary of kings all together.

You speak as though you would know anything of Westeros. Is your exiled guide with you?

And now seek to supplant them all with a Queen?

[There is only a slight pause.]

If I am going to take Kings Landing, there will be a great deal I will learn know of Westeros.

If she can command an army better than a child and rule the masses better than drunk.

Shall you be a quiet visitor to our land until your dragon children grow? You'll find Westeros is in low spirits as they believe there are only two admittedly unappealing choices between kings.

There are a great many people interested in the size of my children--

Tell me, my anonymous benefactor how many ships lie in port?

Which port? Yours, the enemy's or mine?

You can not win this land by force alone. You need the spirits and minds of the people. Something that can be easily earned now that we have doors.

What do you know of my port

The one in King's Landing.

Why should I trust you, when you will not even give up your name?

Far more ships than you can fight without dragons. But, that can be taken care of.

My name is an enemy to many.

I don't mean to fight them, I mean to take them.

An ally in the shadows is just as easily an enemy.

Intriguing. And, you believe the guards and captains will gladly hand over their ships to you?

I am not sure how easily you are swayed by reputation. One poor remark from another Lord might keep you from this useful shadow. Let me do you a favor, Dragon Queen. Then, I shall give you my name and you can decide for yourself.

No, but I shall give you a little lesson in history. The first thing I taught my dragons how to do? When they were hatchlings, was burn. I've found seafaring men to be incredibly worried about the threat of fire.

If someone were to open a door for you to this dock full to the brim of ships and chaos, could you burn your way to acquiring them?

If my dragons were hatchlings and could pass through the door, this would be possible, but they would be far too fragile then, wouldn't they? Far too easy to capture.

Flying would suit me better.

Flying would take years. Years that could be used to hunt down your fragile little children.

Oh yes, what are they now? The size of dogs?

I heard a rumor that those dragons you have are the offspring of the last and weakest of its kind. They can be taken or killed, which is exactly what men of Westeros will attempt.

There is great power in rumors, Mother of Dragons. You should keep that in mind.

I am a ghost of Westeros. A man of my reputation is more powerful dead than alive.

A ghost of Westeros is less a man than most, but he is still a man.

Keep it that way.

Since you are so eager to do me a favor, when I land, give the people more than a rumor. Those that kneel will be not be harmed, so long as they are not Lannisters, Baratheons, or Starks. Those towns wishing to be brought under my rule will likewise be spared.

The common people would benefit to hear you speak. If they believe you are more than just a fairy tale across the sea, they would fight for you.

You are keen to kill all three houses?

If you require anything, simply ask for your shadow.
