At dawn on September 1st, another bloody scene was discovered, this time just outside of the military barracks. However, instead of a guard, the victim was a mutant later identified as Hannah Ryers. A petite brunette was found lying face down in a pool of blood, dressed in nothing but a tattered and torn hospital gown. She had a gaping wound on the back of her neck, from which protruded what appeared to be small electrical wires. The cause of death was not immediately clear, but it was not the open wound that caused the woman’s demise. She had been assaulted severely, limbs broken and her face disfigured.
