Ninkasi's Mixer (EVERYONE)
La Isla de Ninkasi (The Island of Ninkasi) was located in the South Pacific. It wasn't really huge, but it was large enough to get lost on for a few hours at the very least. There were a lot of hide-a-ways that people could disappear into and discover. It was magical, which was why she totally loved it. The coast varied from soft white sand on one side to cliffs on the other. In one place, there were even pools when the tide is out. The party itself was laid out on the sandy part of coast. There tiki torches and little pillow settings that people could meet and sit and talk. There was a raised wooden platform for people to dance on as well. It was big enough to hold quite a few gods and goddesses. Thanks to Bes, she had the perfect choice of music to set the mood. It wasn't too modern and it wasn't too old fashioned. It was a nice blend of soothing instrumentals and a good beat. At least it was at the start of the night. It'd alternate between mood music and dance as the party progressed. Naturally, there were plenty classics. Tables were laid out along the coast with fresh fruits and of course, every type of beverage one could imagine. Most of them were obviously alcoholic. Food also roasted in pits dug out of the earth. Ninkasi tried her best to bring a cuisine that represented each pantheon. If they weren't adventurous they could stay safe. If they were curious, they could try the food of another! She loved that sort of thing when mortals did it. She thought it'd be a fun thing to try. One of the best ways to bond with anyone was over good food, and she loved food from all over. New flavors were exciting and she wanted to share that experience with everyone. Wandering the island could lead a god or goddess to find a little more of the same old things, but Ninkasi had not only enjoyed the beautiful natural creations, but taken liberties into building other things into them as well. One of her favorite places are further in, where there is a natural hot spring due to the island's volcano. At the foot of it was a sign that read "No Blowing Up The Island." Finding a new island was just so much work. |
