Reality Crisis OOC

This is not an easy announcement to type up, but Nel and I have discussed the state of the game and have decided it's time to wrap up the storyline and close it. Unfortunately, activity just seems to keep dwindling and we don't know what to do to inject life into the game anymore.

We are currently discussing ways to give closure to the story and you'll know more as soon as we get that worked out. In the meantime, we're happy to hear from you on anything you'd like to see for this. And of course, you're welcome to continue playing. The characters don't know that they're thisclose to finding a way to repair the world.

Hey all!

I'm Lauren and it's great to be playing with you all. I currently only have Anna Milton in the mix here. She is a former fallen angel of the Supernatural world who regained her grace, became an angel again, went through retraining, etc. There is a lot more detail, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who has not experienced the awesomeness that is Supernatural. Anyway, she's coming in from moments before her death, she's wounded, weakened too from her fight against the Winchesters. She will now Castiel and the two brothers, but I'm down for plot with anyone!

Your mod team might be getting a bit confused on which holidays are which, so in honor of a holiday (we're not sure which), we bring you the Horror Tropefest. Below are rules for surviving a horror movie. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to have your characters break at least one of these rules. Feel fre eto show consequences to them breaking these rules or have them avoid consequences. Also feel free to turn some of these tropes on their head. The most important thing is to have fun. And DON'T DIE.*

(To be clear-these threads don't have to involve any sort of life-threatening horrors at all. Just have fun with the rules and see what you can come up with)

Edit: Forgot to mention that this will go for the next month, so you have until January 15th do your challenge.

-Sex = Death
-Don't drink or do drugs.
-Never say "I'll be right back".
-Don't split up.
-Abandoned Cabins aren't.
-It's always behind you.
-When running, don't trip and fall.
-Don't mess around with the house keys either, just kick the door down.
-The killer is already in the house.

To everyone I am involved in threads with (Peter Petrelli or River Song), I want to apologize for being unavailable and unresponsive. I am having severe issues with depression and mental health, and cannot bring myself to be writing just now. I'm struggling enough with my own head to get into someone else's.

I don't know how long this may continue. Hopefully not long, but I've got to put some work into myself.

To clarify, I am not leaving the game.

I'm really open for anything as far as housing arrangements go for RC.

Keep in mind that I am pretty open-minded when it comes to lines, as well as potential house mates. The more diversity the more interesting things can become. I'm shuddering with anticipation.

Surprise me!

Be sure to read this post since it should give you all a good idea of what's going on now. But essentially, the characters are done traveling and have arrived at their destination and now we get to have them settle in and figure out new living arrangements, etc.

Now, I'm not sure about Erik's community or about those left from New Troy, but Belia's not going to force anyone to take specific living arrangements. She's also not going to let anyone get away with having a house to themselves.

So, talk amongst yourselves and figure out housing!

Also, we have a request now that everyone's in the same place. Please take some time and try to play with a character that your characters haven't met in game or have only met briefly but haven't interacted with. The really exciting thing about this change in the status quo is that it should open up new interactions and allow for new characters to meet.

We are probably going to do some sort of match-up challenge soon too so keep your eyes open for that one.

1. We're going to bring a close to the moving plot and begin the plot surrounding the new settlement on Tuesday. So if you wanted to do a post with your characters on the move, make sure to get it up before Tuesday.
2. If you didn't notice, there is a mini-plot going on at the moment. Feel free to jump in. We'll probably wind this down around Tuesday as well so jump in while the getting's good. Any threads posted after that would be taking place after the snow dinosaurs were defeated.

A couple of things about them:
-Yes, they can eat people. They basically inhale them or they can also trample people so they are a thread.
-They can be killed in multiple ways. Basically with any excessive force. Feel free to be creative with this.

Let us know if you have any questions and more information on the next phase of the game will be coming on Tuesday.

So as you may have seen in this post, Mila is going on an extended hiatus. For now, we're going to assume that her characters have been swallowed up by the same tear in reality that unleashed the snow dinosaurs. However, we have a plan to bring them back if and when Mila returns.

In the meantime, we did want to point out that we're being lax on activity at the moment because the group is so small and we value the quality of writing and our players over things getting done quickly. We don't want things to come to a standstill, but we've also given a lot of leeway in terms of activity because we know that this is a busy time of year. All that we ask is that you keep in touch and let us know if you need a hiatus or if you've lost interest in a character. We will still check in with you if we haven't heard from you in awhile, just to make sure that the interest is still there but if the interest is still there we are willing to work with you.
