To say she was confused would be the understatement of the year. Juliet was very much open to the world of unexplained, unnatural phenomenon but this was different. This was..she wasn't sure what this was, but it didn't even feel like Earth anymore. Fictional characters like comic book heroes were a normal thing. She could swear she saw Clark Kent posting on the network. Superman. Characters she idolized as a kid and one day dreamed of meeting she now had a very real possibility of meeting on the streets. What would she do if she ran into Superman, or Supergirl? Stare blankly and try to make her brain work, maybe sound out a few vowels. Yeah, that would be classy.
She kept hearing it was a place called Colligo. Whatever that meant. The name meant nothing to her. Only that it came with a P.D.A and a roommate named Buffy. Felt like college all over again. Oh joy. Shaking her head she touched her forehead and sighed. It'd been a long day, and it wasn't getting any easier. Her life was in Santa Barbara. Her brothers and family, her job. Everything she knew had been turned upside down in less than twenty four hours and apparently she was supposed to be okay with it. On the outside she was. On the inside she was having a miniature melt down that required a chocolate cure and fast. Ontop of dealing there was Shawn who she had no idea how to talk to anymore but seemed to have no issue talking to her. Even after the things he'd said. It confused her beyond reason. Juliet still in her work clothes from the day before, strolled down a street filled with small shops in a fog until she came to a small cafe where chocolate and coffee existed all in one convenient location. Pushing open the door she dug in her pocket for a few dollars and ordered a double shot latte, and and brownie.
Sitting at a window seat she watched the city. It was active even with the sundown. Poking at her brownie she sifted her free hand through messy bedhead blond hair and rubbed tiredly at her eyes. "This doesn't make sense. Maybe I am dreaming.." She rationalized mostly to herself.
