[OOC: SO sorry about the slowness! Midterms ended up being more time consuming than I expected. I'm going to email you back in a sec too!]
Carlton snorted at that and shook his head a little bit. "Isn't that just. . Spencer? It's what he does, I really wouldn't give it any extra thought." He said softly, before lifting his cup to take a sip of the hot liquid, sighed in relief at the feeling of it going down, if there was one thing in this whole world that appeared to be right, it was the coffee here, and Carlton was glad, he wasn't sure he could survive any place without a good cup of Joe.
But Juliet's silence, lack of continuance in the discussion piqued his interest, damn his detective portion of his brain. "So you're saying, if I read you right, that Spencer has really, truly done something surprising." Well that could prove interesting if he was right, and so Carlton sat back in his chair a little to fix her with a studious look. "And that's what's got you slow on your baked goods."
"O'Hara," His look became serious, but not scary, and he leaned in again, brows knitted slightly. "If he's done something inappropriate, just say the word and I will go hunt him down right now and throw him. . .into whatever sort of correctional facility that they have in this dump, I'll build one if I have to. You just tell me what happened."
