Who: Papa Ghede & Syssi What: Chance meeting When: May 17th, early afternoon Where: The Village
Despite not being strictly human, Ghede loved his creature comforts. The trailer he'd been given upon joining the Cirque was the place he thought of as home now, and it was decorated and filled with things that suited his...eclectic personality, you could say. A cross hung over the doorway, empty rum bottles decorated the windowsill. One even had some dried flowers in it. It was done in rich colors highlighted with bright contrast, the highlights and shadows appealing to Ghede in a way that just felt right.
But as nice as it was, he couldn't stay in there forever. And more to the point, he didn't want to. There were things to be seen and done around the Cirque, and he'd never get everything done if he kept himself hidden away all day. So he tucked his flask, his spectacles, and his lighter into his jacket pocket, and headed outside into the sunshine. Despite being so closely tied to death, Ghede actually enjoyed being outside and soaking up the warmth. And he loved watching the denizens of the Cirque going about their lives and tasks. He smiled and called greetings to some of them that he knew, never too busy to engage in a brief chat.
