"It's one of the few constant things I've ran into over the years," he sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Most things can be killed, regardless of how long they've lived. Everyone has lost someone, be they Fae, or human, or something else entirely." He gave her what he hoped was a comforting smile. "The best thing I can say, is that at least there's hopefully peace on the other side. Whether that means oblivion, or the afterlife, or Heaven, even if they were taken from this world unfairly, they're not hurting anymore."
"Ah, a kindred spirit," he answered, grinning. "More folks should do that, it shows their passion for whatever it might be."
