Rules
Don't freak. It's like, five, but it's stuff I find important.
1.) Don't be an asshole. Everyone knows the general rules of RP, so I'm just putting it under the banner of the 'don't be an asshole' rule. If what you are thinking of doing sounds dickish, just don't do it, and we'll all be happier for it.
2.) No drama. Drama makes everyone sad, and you don't want to be responsible for making people sad, right?
3.) Tag your shit. I’m tired of having to go behind a few people and tag posts. If your character is new and doesn’t have a tag yet, that’s one thing. If your character has a tag, please use it.
4.) Start new lines if needed. After about twenty or so comments, threads start to get hard to read. Start a new line, please. I have to make scene summaries every week, and it’s kind of a pain to have to scroll over and to the side to read them.
5.) First character must be approved by both mods. This is mainly so that both mods, Dan and I, know who you are and what you are applying for. After this, only one mod needs to approve all additional characters.
6.) The game is what you make of it. If you only want to play the game part time because you're busy with work/school/life/what have you, that's perfectly fine. We're no longer going to have any sort of 'activity requirement' because there are plenty of people here who are very busy for months at a time. HOWEVER, if you want to play a lot, you're going to be the one to initiate a lot of it. Put up open pots, email people seeing if they want to play, or hit them up over aim. Please don't expect people to give you the ideas. It sounds kind of awful, but we've had people sit back and expect people to come to them and stew and get angry over it. ALWAYS be willing to seek out scenes. Once people get to know you better, they may start initiating back and you won't have to so much.
