Likes to put his hands on her face and bend her backward, kissing her until she’s breathless, too, slides his fingers down her throat and feels her pulse pound through thin skin.

First and foremost, if you've noticed a lack of prompts lately, it's because of two reasons. One, we were getting absolutely no responses to the prompts that were given. Two, because of chronic illness on my part.

Having said that, your friendly mod really needs your help. Due to aforementioned chronic illness, I have not been able to work for a year. Surgery, brain surgery to be specific, needs to be done as soon as possible for me to get back to being a functional adult. The only catch? Despite receiving assistance from my local teaching hospital, I'm still supposed to somehow manage to come up with thousands of dollars before they'll even schedule a surgery date.

So, I've come up with an incredibly unorthodox way to raise the funds needed. More information can be found at projectdownload. I would really appreciate it if you all at least take a look at it and decide for yourselves whether or not it's something you want to support. If you do decide to support it, your friendly mod appreciates it bunches.

You'll be sick of the sight of me. Anyway, here's my contribution to the day. No Buffy I'm afraid but there could be in the next set.

It's Monday and you know what that means! It means it's prompt time. However, because I'm still exhausted from a weekend of partying (wedding in my surrogate family) and because this Saturday is Bring Back the Porn Day, theantijoss and I have decided we'll be promptless this week. I told her I was worried about getting arrested for indecent exposure, but she kept insisting I'd be fine.

So, yes. Instead of giving a prompt, we're asking all who want to write something to write something for Bring Back the Porn Day and that you post it here, as well as anywhere else. This is a modly command. I need more porn to read. :)

theantijoss and redscorner have finally hammered out the rules for this asylum. They are as such:

What this community is: A safe haven for any fan of the Buffy/Angel relationship. We encourage discussion, sharing of fiction/icons/videos and just about anything else B/A related. There will be weekly prompts and anyone who wants to participate can; however, it isn't a requirement. This is a place to share all of your B/A related fic, meta, graphics, icons, layouts, news, discussion, etc.

What this community is not: A place to start, engage in or perpetrate any kind of asshattery. Period. Hopefully, there will never come a time where we’ll need to expand on this definition, as we expect everyone to play nice.

Prompts will be issued on Monday and will be presented in different formats. The only rules we have about the content created in response to prompts are as follows:

1. Any fic over 100 words, all graphics except for a small teaser, and all adult rated material MUST go behind a cut. Adult stuff must also be labeled clearly outside the cut.

2. Any icons posted will be "up for grabs" by members of the community. If you see an icon or icons you want to use, please comment to the creator on the post, and credit the creator in the keywords once you've uploaded it to your account. This is just common decency, and anyone caught not giving proper credit or claiming work as their own will FEEL THE WRATH OF THE BANHAMMER.

That being said, I give you prompt number 001. It is a song lyric from Mel C, former temporarily reinstated Spice Girl. The song is called Beautiful Intentions and there's something about this line that tugs at me, Buffy/Angel wise.

First and foremost, a huge thank you to theantijoss for creating this commu... er, asylum. It's gonna take me a while to adopt all of the IJ speak.

My name is Red and I'm a brand-spanking new maintainer here. After some talking that involved lots of run-on sentences and squeeing (the majority of which was on my end, as I am a big dork), theantijoss and I have decided to make some small changes to this community. It's nothing bad, I promise! Nothing is going to be taken away, we're just going to throw in a few more elements to get the wheels turning in all our heads.

For those of you that came from LJ, you may have known about communities like still_my_girl, open_on_sunday and still_grrr. These communities were all wonderful and while they had different formats and rules, one thing united them all into one "category," if you will. They were all communities that used weekly prompts to challenge their members to write ficlets, make icons or other artwork and in some cases, even make fan videos.

So I'm very excited to announce that ba_ship is going to take the concept of a weekly prompt and expand on it somewhat. More details will come later, but I really think you're all going to have a blast getting involved with some of the prompts we have in mind.

There will be no rules (okay, maybe a few rules, but it's basic courtesy kind of stuff), no voting, no constrictions.

There's a fandom migration going on, everyone. I don't know how big it will get, but I know chances are more than good that I'm bringing the vast majority of my fandom/blogging business here. I wanted to make sure there was a community where I and my favorite B/A authors could share our work, along with that of artists, meta writers, and icon makers.

SO, if B/A is your thing, and you have something to share, please feel free. Any and all work is welcome, but I ask that you please put things behind a cut, and outside make sure that the title, rating, content and author information are clear.

It may not need to be so explicit, but I'm going to make it so anyway: Any flaming, bashing, or other asshattery will result in immediate banning. Let's just not even pretend that this is a community for anyone else but fans who enjoy B/A(us).
