Fic: Mirrors (Kingdom Hearts, Kairi/Namine)
Title: Mirrors
Author: GW Katrina
Rating: R
Warnings: Naughty touches
Word count: 303
Prompt: Kingdom Hearts, Kairi/Namine: body paint - the cool touch of magic
Summary: Kairi does some experimenting.
A/N: This popped fully into my head when I re-read the prompt. Hope you enjoy.
When she looked into the mirror, it wasn't red hair she saw. Instead, there were bright blue eyes peering out from behind blonde hair.
Kairi was naked, so was Namine. From either side of the glass, they looked at one another, studying the way they were different. After all, they already knew how they were the same.
When Namine reached up, and traced her finger along the mirror, Kairi shivered, blue painting along her skin, goose bumps raising under the paint and spreading from there. Then she reached out herself, tracing a finger over glass, running it along the center of the other's chest.
On pale skin, Namine was painted in red.
Nor did it stop there. Kairi knew what touches made her shiver, and she wanted to explore this side of her, this part that was their own person, and see what reactions she could get. And it seemed as if Namine as just as curious.
Magic tingled along their fingers, cool to the touch, as they continued to touch glass, leaving streaks on one another's skin. The first time Kairi got a little whimper from the blonde, she smiled, and set about touching even more, exploring, discovering new things to draw out sounds.
After a few moments, Namine started to return the favor.
As quickly as it had started, both girls, tied together by magic and reality, shivered, and Kairi had to shut her eyes, leaning against the mirror. Catching her breath, she opened her eyes again.
And saw herself staring back.
Pushing away from the glass, red and blue paint smeared on her skin, she smiled.
And wondered what would happen if Sora and Roxas tried the same thing.
That thought got a giggle from the back of her mind, and she made a note to find a bigger mirror.
