What if the world you once knew changed almost over night?
What if everything you had come to rely on about your life was suddenly gone? No phones. No computers. No electronics of any kind.
Fierce storms and other natural disasters tear through your reality. The polar ice caps have melted. Earthquakes are common place. Floods and fires happen everywhere.
Then there are the portals.
They appear without warning and suck people in, taking them who knows where -- or even when.
Welcome to the world of After Tomorrow.
Civilization has fallen apart as 90% of the people in the world are either dead or missing. Natural resources are extremely limited, and there is no electricity. People have turned on each other in their fight to survive.
However, a small band of survivors located at MIT in Boston tries to rebuild their lives and regain some semblance of normalcy.
Everyday, a portal seems to open up and dump another hapless victim in Boston, or people searching for others find their way there. People from all places, times and worlds are here, fighting to survive.
It's the end of the world. The life you once knew is no longer. What do you do? How do you survive it?
