Lissa laughed a little and nodded to him. "I wouldn't blame you actually. The prison can be hard to take sometimes, but our guardians help to make it easier and bring us out for our feedings." It hadn't been quite as bad as it had been at one time, but there were still moments when it felt much more crowded than it was. Sometimes Lissa stayed in the less populated portions of the prison and kept to herself.
"You're very kind. I'll mention the invitation to all of them and I know we'll likely take you up on that offer sometime. Our kinds are very different, but I see a lot of other similarities too."
She looked around the woods where they were standing and smiled. The fresh blood running through her gave her strength and she felt like she could take on anyone right now. "Would you like to race back to the house? I feel a little like stretching my legs again." The speed was remarkable and she couldn't get enough of it.
