For Jasper killing their kind of vampires was easy. But then again, he was more or less a master at it given his past. The only difficulty came with ripping apart the vampire given when they changed their cells became essentially crystallized. It was perhaps why they sparkled in the sun. So Jasper thought anyways.
Jasper nodded some. "She was definitely better prepared than any of those I've met. She actually stopped herself from going after a bleeding human on her first hunt."
At Lissa's question, he nodded. "More or less," he agreed. "I can feel emotions and I can influence them too, though I try not to use it unless someone I know is upset or anxious." He shrugged. "Constantly doing so just feels like I'm abusing that power. But I'm lucky. I can choose to use my power or not. Alice, my brother Edward, they can't really turn theirs off. As I'm sure you noticed."
