Who: Gray and Jack Harkness What: Reuniting When: Tuesday morning Where: Pre-designated location in town Warnings: None
Jack had felt bad about not making time sooner for his brother. He knew all of his confusion, for the most part, was due to the large amount of retconn he'd had pumped into his system, but Jack really didn't have any other choice. Gray had been out for vengeance on him, and his reasoning behind why was completely sound.
Jack had relived the moment his little brother slipped for just a second from his grip back on the Boeshane Peninsula over and over in his dreams for years. That was until whatever power brought him back from extermination by a dalek and he didn't need to sleep any longer. Sometimes he did to seem normal, especially where one night stands were concerned.
Nowadays, it was the goddamn zombie apocalypse and he was just doing what he could to help the people he cared about survive. And that meant Gray.
He hadn't told anyone about where he was going because it was on a need to know basis. Now that he'd lost Ianto permanently to the afterlife, he needed a constant and Gray was that constant. It wasn't hard to track his brother down; he was hiding in plain sight and God, he was such a sight for sore eyes. Jack teared up when he saw him, unable to control his emotions.
"Gray... it's me. Its your brother, Jack." he said, feeling his chin tremble a little. "I've missed you so much... I thought you were killed."
