Julia nodded, agreeing with Penny’s complaint that while clothing was available, fashion was sorely missed within these prison walls. Not that they shouldn’t be grateful for what they had, which they both were she was sure. But there was something wonderful about having clothes that you enjoyed. Not only did it lift your mood, but it made you feel a little bit better about yourself and they could all do with a bit of that as far as Julia could see. Maybe if she could find something for Vera that matched her sense of taste then the girl’s mood would improve. A nice jacket maybe for the upcoming winter season would suit best? But then that was probably getting a bit of ahead of themselves. Who knew what they would actually find once they were out there? And they still needed a third person, a raider probably or someone with a bit more experience on the outside then either of them had.
Folding the clothes that were put in front of her Julia replied, sharing some of her earlier thoughts, “I was thinking about maybe looking for a jacket for Vera. She tends to lean toward baggier clothing but something fitted would look good on her. Maybe with a cute lining? Though I support searching for boots. I’ve nearly worn the tread off of these which a shame. They’re so comfortable.”
