Julia hiked the medical backpack higher up on her shoulders, redistributing the weight to make it a bit more comfortable though she wasn't about to complain. She'd gotten the sense earlier when they'd met up at the gate that, while her presence made perfect sense for the trip they were about to take, it wasn't exactly welcomed. The nurse didn't take any offense, however, because unlike the rebuffs she'd been covertly fielding from the backlash of Gossip Girl's public blast on her past she could sense that this had nothing to do with the other. In a way it was a bit refreshing, but whatever the reason was behind the coolness between them Julia didn't quite care at the moment. She had her own job to do here and while she could smile in almost any situation with the best of them Julia appreciated silence as well.
It gave her time to mull over the possibilities that awaited them when they finally made it to the men that needed their help. Brothers, Natasha had mentioned, which was something in times like these when families were so often torn apart. Still it was made clear to her that if Natasha didn't feel it was safe to proceed then Julia wasn't getting anywhere near her possible future patient. She understood of course, but that didn't mean she liked it. Considering what she did and how much that made up who she was, Julia could never really stomach not seeing to the sick when they needed medical help, but it wasn't her call. Still she hoped that things went well because something like the flu wasn't such a benign thing to go through anymore, especially if there were pre-existing respiratory problems involved. And if the fevers got worse without being treated with antipyretics things could turn ugly quickly. Of course there was the possibility that this was some kind of trap which was why Julia had a hunting knife strapped to her right thigh, but intuition told her that wasn't the case.
Either way they'd all find out soon enough, barely catching sight of what once might have been a church before Natasha signaled them to stop. She was left to watch silently as her two companions seemed to communicate without words, Clint looking ready to take down any type of threat that may come their way as Natasha slowly walked forward. The woman's green eyes scanning over the surrounding area with such a methodical nature that it caught Julia's attention, but it was a detail she stored away for later thought as she kept her eyes open too for any sign of the person they were supposed to be meeting.
