Destiny Rumancek had been wanting to get her hands on Derek Hale for awhile now. He was the consummate alpha in town. Scott had just started understanding what it meant to be an alpha and Peter had only squandered his status. Derek on the other hand seemed to be the go to for all the little wolves in town. She really hoped that he would keep his end of the bargain and get Isaac out of her cabin. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy Isaac, she just hadn't expected him to stay for so long. She had a business to run. She had told him she was meeting with a client and to make himself sparse. He had disappeared thirty minutes ago and she didn't expect to see him until the end of the night.
"It's nice to meet you too, Derek and friends." She gave the whole family an affable smile but she could already feel the bad energy in the room and it was all coming from one spot on Derek's body. She could feel how ragged his energy was, how strong and aggressive it was. He was almost like Isaac had been when he first showed up only on steroids. Dick Roman sure did know how to do a number on these boys.
She kind of wished she could have ten minutes alone with the banshee. It had been a really long time since Destiny had run into one of those but today wasn't about Lydia. Maybe some other time. Maybe after she curried favor with her boyfriend.
She held her hands out but didn't touch Derek, just hovered them in front of his extremely well built chest. "I'm not going to touch you yet, you have to calm down first. I'm just channeling your energy through your chakras. Follow my voice if you start getting lost and come back to this room. You're safe here."
Like static beneath her palms Destiny could feel his energy slowly begin to slide downward. Destiny was better than any Xanax anybody would ever find. Once she had his energy level down to a reasonable level she reached out and lightly touched the scar through his shirt.
"You're giving off a lot of heat in this one spot. Do you mind taking your shirt off so I can see?"
Some requests were both useful and selfish. Destiny didn't have any illusions that she was going to lure Derek into her bedroom. He wasn't a puppy and he was spoken for. That didn't mean she couldn't and wouldn't admire his impressive physique while she helped him.
