The room wasn't nearly as creepy as Rogue had anticipated but the small bit of doubt was still there. Was she just being over sensitive after the nightmare her life had been the past month? She honestly couldn't tell, but then Adrian started going on about pillows and waffles. For a split second she was confused, but then quickly enough started nodding along in agreement. If it was going to get them out of there, she was all for it.
"Yeah, I can't believe it slipped my mind," she said with sheepish expression she hoped was convincing. "It was fun but I have to get back to my friend, he's sick and I should have been back by now. So I guess we'll be going."
She took a step back and that seemed to anger the big guy in the suit. "Not before you play a game first."
Well if the isolation of the room hadn't set off red flags, the threatening tone of suit guy did. "Really, I'd love to but again, sick friend. Really, we gotta go." She took another step back and froze when she her back suddenly came into contact with a solidly built chest.
"Neither of you are leaving the room until you play a game of roulette."
God damn it, she'd forgotten about the bouncer. Rogue bit the inside of her cheek and glanced over at Adrian, hoping he'd take her lead just like she'd tried to follow his. "Fine, we'll play one game and go." She didn't sound happy about it and looked like she was going to step forward but at the last moment, she turned just enough to grab the bouncer's arm and flung him towards the guy in the suit. Rogue didn't bother to wait and see if she'd hit suit guy, there was definitely a loud crash though, and instead gingerly shoved Adrian in front of her, urging him to start running.
